شاهزاده رضا پهلوی در بخش پایانی سخنرانی خود در رویداد «کوروش ۲»، از عزت نفس، اصالت و همبستگی ملت ایران سخن گفت و ایستادگی مردم آبدانان را نمونه‌ای روشن از ملتی دانست که با وجود فشارهای اقتصادی، اجازه نمی‌دهد جمهوری اسلامی با سوءاستفاده از فقر و سفره‌های خالی، اراده‌اش را بخرد.

او تأکید کرد که جمهوری اسلامی از درون فرسوده و توخالی است، در حالی که ملت ایران از همیشه مصمم‌تر و سازمان‌یافته‌تر به مسیر خود ادامه می‌دهد.

Iranian blogger Soda Ebrahimi Shamsabadi has been sentenced to death by a Revolutionary Court in Iran after being convicted of “corruption on earth.”

Authorities accused her of insulting slain Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, conducting media and propaganda activities against national security, carrying out intelligence and security activities for “hostile governments,” and photographing from a distance a site where a missile had struck and sending the image to a Persian-language media outlet abroad.

The court also sentenced her to additional prison terms of between two and five years, ordered the confiscation of her property and barred her from certain government services.

Human-rights groups also say she suffers from multiple sclerosis and other illnesses and have raised concerns about her access to medical treatment.

Before her arrest, Shamsabadi openly condemned Iran’s crackdown on anti-government protesters. In one of her final Instagram posts, she wrote that if she died, people should know she had “chosen the path” she believed in.

The Swedish government’s decision to expel an official from the Islamic Republic’s embassy is a decisive and necessary act in defence of Sweden’s citizens, sovereignty and national security.

Tehran’s immediate retaliation does not weaken the case for Sweden’s action, it proves it. The regime has long relied on intimidation and escalation whenever its impunity is challenged.

Sweden has now made clear that threats against its citizens and interests will carry consequences. Other European governments should follow its lead, stand together and confront the Islamic Republic’s hostile activities with equal resolve.

The Iranian people will remember those who stood firm against a regime that threatens them, and democratic nations alike.
