ICE beat him so violently that he couldn’t remember his own daughter.
Then they lied about it.
Alberto Castañeda Mondragón’s skull was fractured in eight places. He had bleeding on his brain and spent nearly a month in the hospital.
ICE claims he simply ran into a wall.
Even the doctors and nurses didn’t believe ICE’s story.
Alberto, a legal resident with a green card, was just shopping in St. Paul when ICE agents pulled him out of his car.
Stories like Alberto’s are all too common with ICE. Beatings and shootings of detainees and even legal observers have been detailed time and time again.
And ICE keeps lying, despite judges, courts, and even doctors revealing their lies.
We must hold ICE accountable for its actions.
Victims of their violence deserve justice
ICE agents in Minnesota pulled up behind a woman in her vehicle and hit it and then drug her out of her car saying she hit them when it was right in front of another ladies home with a ring camera that captured it all! The woman is an American citizen too!
Over half of the amendments in the Bill of Rights are being fought over as a direct result of Trump’s immigration enforcement surge in Minnesota.
“You could teach a great constitutional law seminar about the Bill of Rights just through the violations that have taken place in Minneapolis alone.
There have been massive violations of the civil rights of minority groups in the past, like Native Americans and African Americans and Asian Americans, but it is hard to sum up any historical analogy to the systematic violation of all of the fundamental constitutional rights of the people in such a comprehensive and indiscriminate way.”
- Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., former constitutional law professor at American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.
ICE shatter car window in front of newborn to detain father—refuse to look at his legal documents.
First gave agents REAL ID driver's license.
"That's nothing to us," agent replied.
Next he handed agents his work visa.
"That ain't shit," agent laughed.
He ran out of fear only after agents dragged him out of his car and started hitting him.
Agents then mocked him for being Guatemalan—even though he's from Mexico—and laughed in his face when he begged to say goodbye to his wife and newborn baby.
Juan Martin Espindola Ramirez is absolutely living legally in the U.S.
Judge issued him a U-Visa—a specific court ordered visa for victims of a crime who assist law enforcement.
The incident occurred during a traffic stop on Nolensville Pike in South Nashville, Tennessee. #DemsUnited
65-year-old British woman in the US on the "trip of a lifetime", with a valid tourist visa, was arrested by ICE, shackled, transported & held for weeks on end.

He’s been absent from his district.
He’s refused to stand up to the rampant corruption and endless spending of the current administration.
But when it comes time to make it harder for women to vote, our congressman is suddenly hard at work.
BREAKING: Republican Congressman Bryan Steil just acknowledged that there will be an additional process that all women will have to go through if they want to vote after changing their name due to marriage under the Save Act.
“It will look a lot like if an individual wanted to go and sell their car. If you have a different name than what was on your car, there is a simple, straightforward process for that.”
Undoubtedly this will lead to less women voting, and most women vote Democrat.
This is the real reason Republicans want to pass this law. They want to silence women.
Want to take a clear stance against big tech AND big utilities? There's a petition going from @CitizenActionWI in support of our bill to pause the data center stampede and cap utility rates.
Two great bills, one petition. Spread the word!

Deleting the interviews of a child survivor of Donald Trump’s alleged sexual assault is a pretty clear indication that the DOJ’s priority is to protect Trump and his billionaire pedo-buddies.
Anyone protecting these monsters is complicit.
“Here’s the truth: funding our schools is a responsibility that the state and local partners share.
“Local property taxes go up when the state fails to do its part to meet its obligation.”
-Governor Tony Evers, 2/17/26
State of the State
In reality, Wisconsin can and must be a leader in pursuing both advancing economic development while accelerating a just transition to affordable, reliable, clean energy in a way that does not harm residents, health, economic security or the environment.

This debate is framed as a false choice that our state must prioritize economic growth or meet our clean energy and climate goals.
This is simply not true.
“Come here the right way”
“Get in line and follow the process”
Under Trump, there is no “right way” unless you’re rich or maybe a white South African, there is no “line,” and the process:

-Make data centers pay for all of their costs (100%!).
-Protect us for the full lifetime of the infrastructure (15 years or longer).
-Prioritize new clean energy to avoid risky gas prices
Once again We Energies is trying to jack up your rates. This time, it’s to help big tech build fossil fuel infrastructure that will raise your bills for decades.
