@_DIGB I think this is an excellent point and exactly what you talked about earlier re: financial literacy.

I think managing your own money can go wrong. But - if you can afford it - sticking 10% of your wage in a sensible fund every month should indeed be common knowledge. 👍

@_DIGB I think these are all fair points, but this is on the assumption people have a self invested pension, manage their own money and have a job that affords them the chance to do this in response to events.

Many people will not manage their own pensions.

@WATP_Alasdair @AMcKellar89 I can’t decide if I agree here. Can see why that’d be true, but equally, it’s now become apparent that Palestine is just an oil play for the US and Ukraine a rare earth / minerals grab.

They very much seem to be feathering their own nest, not Putin’s.
