@_StephenKillen Same thing happened at Canal St. years ago. League team turned up, saw the pitch and decided no. The chairman at the time wouldn’t pay the groundsman to cut it over summer it got really long, then had it cut a couple, of days before match, it turned it to 4” high straw 😳
