@dada_drummer this is a total assumption on my part but if royalty rates go up for most artists (except the superstars) then that might incentivize more smaller artists to commit stream fraud simply because it's more lucrative
@dada_drummer yeah. suppressing stream fraud is something streaming services have to deal with today but it could get worse under the user-centric model
@dada_drummer the user-centric model won't benefit those with the most songs/albums. superstar acts that get the most plays today will be paid less. most/all other artists will benefit because each listener's monthly subscription fee will be divided amongst the artists they streamed that month
