@Ziff54813Arnold@Bh_Pov@Jacksonsrule I just can't wrap my head around why people have a problem with this. They are still paying taxes on all their income, before they make loan payments. And when they die an estate tax will be taken on all their assets before they are distributed to their heirs.
@TommyTPaine@HumanistReport Our experience with oublic school must just differ greatly. I have a son in public and a son that homeschools. I dont seen any benefit being gained in the public school experience vs homeschool. The main difference is a lot of boredom and order following.
@TommyTPaine@HumanistReport Youre just uniformed and probably shouldn't speak on the topic. Do you think children that are homeschooling just sit in their house all day? There are co-ops, scouts, sports, etc. Most homeschooled children are around other kids all the time, in much healthier environments.
@omgsidewalks Capitalism produces a lot of the former because there is little to no government involvement. If the government would get out of transportation, Healthcare and housing, the market would meet demands.
@ChefGruel For me it depends on the cut and how im cooking it. Anything hot and fast, I'll rest for a few minutes and it's fine. But a bigger cut that I'm cooking low and slow to 200ishยฐ. I like to give it an extra couple hours wrapped in a cooler.
@spider2081@famexbt Dude, if youre making $20/hr in 2026 then you will have to sacrifice something (less personal time/living with roomates/smaller apt.) Until you make yourself more valuable in the market. Get a better job if your employer doesn't "pay enough". Stop crying
@ZachWLambert But....he doesn't have $1.2t. What you are suggesting would require him selling his companies. 10s of 1,000s of people losing their jobs. Hes not "hoarding wealth", he's creating it.
You are an adult with a brain. I refuse to believe that you dont understand this.
@Bitofhonesty@AkkadSecretary I think the logic is that the money youre saving for a down payment could be invested and compounding. Plus with taxes and repairs home ownership is going to be more expensive in the long run, even if youre mortgage is less than rent.
@lakelikeglass19@PBaldridge777@Phatmandrake@CarolinaLion2 Lol. And they picked a 72 pack of cheese for $11, over 1/5 of the total cost.
It is true that the price of a lot of things is crazy right now. Making burgers at home is a very bad example.
