@HeavenBentPod I worked on his tv production crew at his Orlando shows in late ‘90s. It was quite the experience to say the least. I was a student at Southeastern University (AoG) at the time and it was still super sketch to me. He paid us well but not enough to cover all the therapy sessions.

@umjeremy If LLPs are the issue, then why not limit lay votes? They are even less trained than LLPs. It just doesn’t make sense to have a category in-between that can’t vote. You are qualified to lead a freakin’ church but we can actually trust you in the matters of the church.

@umjeremy As bi-vocational LLP with an MDiv, I worked my tail off in local church, served on district op teams…all to have to sit & watch others vote at AC. My lay delegate could vote but not me. It’s anecdotal but in AL a large # of churches that left were elder led. LLP felt 2nd class.
