I just watched that testimony from Brad Seiler at Senator Johnson’s roundtable. I have heard so many of these stories. This one still lands like a blow to the chest.

A conscious, coherent woman sitting in an ICU bed, telling her husband she wants to go home, and the hospital’s response is to call the police and turn a discharge into a six-hour standoff. She looks at the sergeant and asks the only question that matters: “Am I a patient, or am I a prisoner?” That is not a rhetorical flourish. That is the precise description of what American hospitals became in 2020 and 2021.

Let me speak as a physician who has actually stood in those rooms.

When a hospital tells a family “she will be dead in 24 hours” and then stops treating her, they have abandoned the practice of medicine. They have substituted a protocol for a patient. Isolation, denial of nutrition, secret DNR orders against the family’s wishes, refusal of the very therapies the patient requested in the ER — this is not “standard of care.” It is the systematic withdrawal of care dressed up as science. A nurse casually predicting death as they wheel her out is not dark humor. It is the culture that formed when doctors were no longer allowed to be doctors.

I have said this since the summer of 2020: COVID was treatable. Early, individualized treatment worked. Nobody needed to be starved, isolated, and declared terminal because they were unvaccinated or because they asked for something other than remdesivir and a ventilator. The moment the hospital learned her vaccination status, the entire tone changed. That is not medicine. That is ideology wearing a white coat.

Brad Seiler did what every husband and every physician is supposed to do: he refused to abandon her. He walked into the ICU, stood his ground for six hours, and took his wife home. She lived. That single fact indicts the entire system more thoroughly than any study. The hospital issued a death sentence. Her husband issued a rescue.

Hospitals exist to treat patients, not to process them according to a federal playbook while families are locked outside. When administrators call law enforcement on a man trying to take his conscious wife home, the institution has ceased to be a hospital. It has become a detention facility with better lighting.

This testimony is not an isolated tragedy. It is a pattern. We documented it in real time. We were called dangerous for saying it. History is now catching up.

Gail Seiler is alive because one man remembered that medicine is a covenant, not a protocol. Every physician who stayed silent while this happened should watch this video and then look in the mirror.

Have you have ever wondered what they are hiding when you see a document that has been redacted? Well you’re about to find out & in this case its as bad as it gets. In her new book, “The Grand Conspiracy, How Obama weaponized the Deep State to destroy Donald Trump”, Svetlana Lakhova, @RealSLokhova, reveals what was redacted in Peter Strzok’s notes when he was Dep Director of Counter Terrorism for the FBI. He made these notes as he was being briefed by his boss, then FBI Director James Comey who was at the meeting on January 5th 2017 in the Oval Office. The part that was redacted was where POTUS - President of the United States - orders the FBI to “do cases with the right people”. So much for separation of powers. The problem was the FBI agent investigating Gen Michael Flynn had already determined there was “no derogatory information” on him & he was “no longer a viable candidate as part of the larger Crossfire Hurricane umbrella case”. So there was no evidence on Flynn- he was innocent of the accusations & yet Obama ordered the FBI to do a case anyway. That is why this was redacted: to protect Obama from his crimes.

Relisez-le avec ce prisme, et vous verrez que chaque animal est un archétype qu'on croise tous les jours.

Il y a les moutons. Ils ne comprennent pas grand-chose aux débats, alors on leur apprend un slogan simple : "Quatre pattes, oui ! Deux pattes, non !". Et dès qu'une voix dissidente commence à poser une question gênante lors d'une assemblée, les moutons se mettent à bêler le slogan, pendant des minutes entières, jusqu'à ce que plus personne ne puisse réfléchir. Ils ne sont pas méchants. Ils répètent. C'est exactement ce que je décrivais : des gens qui ne savent pas pourquoi ils pensent ce qu'ils pensent, mais qui le répètent assez fort pour couvrir ceux qui essaient de penser.

Il y a Malabar, le cheval. Le plus fort, le plus loyal, le plus travailleur de la ferme. Sa réponse à chaque problème est toujours la même : "Je vais travailler plus dur." Et quand un doute surgit, il en a une deuxième : "Napoléon a toujours raison." Malabar donne tout au système. Il ne le questionne jamais. Et le jour où il est usé, où son corps ne suit plus, le système le vend à l'équarrisseur. C'est le personnage le plus tragique du livre, parce que c'est le produit parfait d'une éducation qui apprend à exécuter sans jamais demander pourquoi. Des millions de Malabar se lèvent chaque matin aujourd'hui.

Il y a Benjamin, l'âne. Lui sait lire. Lui comprend tout. Il voit clair dans le jeu des cochons depuis le début. Mais il ne dit rien, il hausse les épaules, "la vie continuera comme elle a toujours été, c'est-à-dire mal". Benjamin, c'est le cynique. Celui qui a gardé son esprit critique mais qui a renoncé à agir. Et c'est peut-être le plus coupable de tous, parce qu'il savait.

Et puis il y a les cochons. Pourquoi ce sont eux qui prennent le pouvoir ? Pas parce qu'ils sont plus forts. Parce qu'ils sont les seuls à avoir vraiment appris à lire, à écrire, à raisonner. Les autres animaux n'ont jamais dépassé quelques lettres de l'alphabet. Alors quand les Sept Commandements affichés sur le mur de la grange commencent à changer, la nuit, un mot après l'autre, personne ne peut le prouver. Les animaux ont un vague souvenir que c'était différent avant. Mais ils finissent par douter de leur propre mémoire plutôt que de douter du pouvoir.

Jusqu'au jour où il ne reste plus qu'un seul commandement sur le mur : "Tous les animaux sont égaux, mais certains sont plus égaux que d'autres."

C'est ça, la leçon fondamentale d'Orwell. Le pouvoir n'appartient pas aux plus forts. Il appartient à ceux qui pensent, face à ceux qui ont renoncé à penser. Une population qui ne sait pas questionner n'a pas besoin d'être enchaînée. Elle s'enchaîne toute seule, et elle remercie celui qui tient la chaîne.

Et c'est là que ça devient vertigineux aujourd'hui.

Nous entrons dans l'ère de l'IA. Les Malabar de notre société, ceux qu'on a formés pendant des décennies à exécuter, à produire, à ne pas poser de questions, vont être remplacés par des machines qui exécutent mieux qu'eux. Le travail pour lequel on les a dressés va disparaître. Et si l'on ne leur a jamais appris à penser, il ne leur restera rien.

Pendant ce temps, le mur de la grange n'a jamais été aussi facile à réécrire. Les algorithmes qui décident de ce que vous voyez, les récits qu'on vous sert en boucle, les slogans qu'on bêle sur les réseaux pour noyer toute nuance. Le mur change chaque nuit, et la plupart des gens ne savent plus lire ce qui était écrit la veille.

La seule défense contre ça, ce n'est ni la force, ni le travail, ni la loyauté. C'est la capacité à lire le mur. À se souvenir de ce qui était écrit. À demander pourquoi ça a changé. Et à avoir le courage de le dire à voix haute, même quand les moutons se mettent à bêler.

Ne soyez pas Malabar. Ne soyez pas les moutons. Et surtout, ne soyez pas Benjamin.

Passing time in a tightly packed airport coffee shop recently, I ended up in conversation with a thirty-something couple sitting only inches from me. I was coming from Mexico City and they were going there. After the usual banter, I asked where they were from and learned they were New Yorkers moving out of that city. They didn’t offer a reason and I didn’t press for one.

They asked me what I did for a living and I explained that I was a writer currently investigating how cartels were smuggling people into the US. I say I was chatting with this couple, but it was really only with her. He said nothing the entire time. But he listened intently as she asked questions.

“You travel a lot? Where have you been?”

“Well, so far this year, I’ve covered the WEF in Davos, researched Karl Marx in London, went to Gaza with the IDF…”

“You’ve been to Israel?” She interrupted. “We’ve been there. What do you think of the war?”

I guessed that here our conversation would end unhappily. They were New Yorkers, so almost certainly heavily propagandized lefties. But I pressed on.

“Almost everything you hear in Western media is wrong…”

“You mean it’s a lie. How?”

“Oct 7 was not just a Charlie Hebdo-style terrorist attack. It was an act of war. More than 7,000 Hamas terrorists penetrated the frontier at more than 100 points. Inspired by Islam, they had been instructed to r8pe, behead, torture, and kidnap men, women, and children.”

He still said nothing, but leaned forward, eyes narrowing.

“Who helped them do it?” She asked.

“Iran was the biggest supplier, but North Korea, China, and Qatar mostly. The UNRWA also played a role. Weapons and matériel were stockpiled in Egypt and smuggled into Gaza through tunnels.”

“You know that?”

“I know that. Trust me.” That led to a discussion of President Sisi, the Muslim Brotherhood, and my standoff with Egyptian State Security in Cairo. Still, I had no real gauge for where they stood politically. She asked if I had written anything on the subject, so I pointed her to my article for The Federalist connecting the dots between Egypt, USAID, Gaza, and my swatting.

A woman sitting nearby, leaned over and said, “Forgive me for eavesdropping on your conversation, but this is fascinating.” We all chatted a bit longer and I left.

About 30 minutes later I was standing in line at the gate waiting to board my flight when the husband appeared.

“Pardon me, but I had to come find you.” He was full of emotion. He indicated that he and his wife were Israelis who had lived in NYC but were now fleeing Mamdani’s third world sh*thole.

“You are a man who needs the protection of angels,” he said, and then presented me with a Jewish holy book. “We want you to have this. I pray it protects you.”

With that he turned and walked away.

Gentile and fierce Protestant that I am, I was nonetheless deeply moved. It seems they had read the article and, catching a glimpse of my work, felt my life was in danger. For my own part, I was aware that the same ideology that threatened me, was the same one that threatened them, forced them to move, and imperiled their native land.

I’m often amazed by the people the Lord puts in my path when I pause long enough to look around and notice them.

In 2005, Oneida shut the flatware factory in Sherrill, New York.

A town that had made silverware for MORE THAN 100 YEARS was supposed to be finished.

Two men refused to let that happen.

Their names are Matt Roberts and Greg Owens.

Roberts had managed that factory. Owens was another former Oneida manufacturing manager. When the company ended U.S. production, they bought the plant and the equipment and reopened it the NEXT DAY as Sherrill Manufacturing.

They did not have a giant rescue fund.
They did not have a Hollywood ending waiting.
They had a building, some machines, and a workforce that knew how to make forks, knives, and spoons.

At first they kept making product for Oneida.

Then Oneida pulled the remaining American work and sent it overseas.

That should have been the end.

It wasn’t.

They took government flatware contracts to keep the lights on. In 2010 they filed Chapter 11. They sold unused equipment. They sold space they could no longer fill. They leased back only the part of the factory they could still run.

They came out of bankruptcy in 2013.

Then they did the thing that saved the company.

They built their own brand: Liberty Tabletop.

They sold 18/10 stainless flatware straight to customers who wanted tableware MADE IN THE UNITED STATES.

Not through a department store that could drop them overnight.
Direct.

Today Liberty Tabletop is the only company still manufacturing stainless steel flatware in America.

Same town.
Same trade.
U.S. steel.
About 70 jobs.

They did not bring back 2,000 workers. Nobody did.

What they saved was the last line.
