🌡️ Rare UK heatwave hits... and the BBC weather map goes full apocalypse mode again!
Left: Old-school forecast, sunny, warm, normal British summer 🌞
Right: Everything's blood red, dramatic shading, panic activated 🫠
Different narrative. They really can't help themselves. 🙄
Enjoy the sunshine guys 😎
Arsenal won the league with 19 controversial decisions going their way, and plenty of generous assists from @FA_PGMOL via VAR. 😭
Penalties not given, red cards ignored, second yellows avoided, goals allowed, goals disallowed, the list is endless.
Nothing but a tainted title. ❌

VAR saving Arsenal season:
🟥 Havertz avoiding a Red Card for a dreadful challenge on Burnley’s Ugochukwu
❌ Saliba kicks Barry, but Everton were denied a penalty. The PGMOL later admitted this was an error.
🟥 Gabriel should have been sent off for violent conduct following a head-to-head incident with Erling Haaland
🟥 Gabriel should have been sent off again after catching Nick Woltemade with a clenched fist across the face
❌ West Ham denied an equaliser in the last seconds of the game after Rice and Trossard both rugby tackled West Ham players
What else have I missed?🤔
Today was Austria 2020 redux. MotoGP was very luck again. Plus of course the awesome work done by riding gear manufacturers. Di Giannantonio trying to duck through the chaos. Alex’s front wheel (with Ohlins forks popping their seals on landing) took him out. Photo via Sky Sports Insta
PGMOL are a disgrace. They started this 18 months ago when it was ok to foul the keeper and now they change the rule at the end of the season and dictate the title on it. Disgrace
Dear @RachelReevesMP.
Can you explain to me why MP's on £98'599 per year from April, are getting a £3'300 cost of living payment too?
Most "working people" are lucky if they earn £30k, and they have to pay the cost of heating
their homes and pay their own rent and mortgage too.
Brilliant news for ordinary working people this week, you are now funding some extra stuff.
▪️Cost of living pay increase of £3300 for MPs
▪️Benefits increase of 6.2%
▪️2 child cap lifted.
Labour isn’t on their side, it’s simply using them as cash cows.
Until 1979 when Margaret Thatcher took over, Water, Energy, Rail and Mail were some of the cheapest and best run services in the entire world.
Then suddenly she said we can't afford them because she wanted to privatise them and they began to fail.
What a strange coincidence.
Rachel Reeves blaming forecourts is pure deflection.
At 160p per litre:
Tax: 80p
Forecourt profit: 7p
The government takes over 50%, which is around 10x more than forecourts.
But somehow it’s the petrol stations fault?
The public can see straight through this.
WELL DONE @UKLabour

Hi @Keir_Starmer
What happened to “Labour would freeze your council tax”?
Or “Not a penny more on your council tax…No ifs, no buts”?
Many people across the country are opening letters for higher council tax bills.
Labour deserve the local election annihilation coming in May.
Marc Guehi should’ve been sent off for this.
Denies Salah a clear goalscoring opportunity but none of the officials rule in Liverpool’s favour.
The game could’ve gone a lot differently…
