If Boone's optimism about the injuries is justified, then that's the Yankees' best argument for why they really are a contender. However, the reinforcements still won't come in time to win the division, so they'll need to deal with the wild card hurdle, and that could be what trips them up.

It's also a shame that Boone isn't a better tactician because he does seem to be a nice guy. Whereas Hal and Cashman are contemptible, Boone is very likeable. If Boone had the benefit of the dynasty rosters, he'd be a beloved figure. Yankee fans (I) need to make an effort to be more charitable to Boone. The team's failures are really much more the fault of Hal and Cashman. That doesn't mean I don't wish for a manager more capable of handling an incomplete roster, but we should all give Boone more grace.

Upon Khan Suri’s release from ICE detention, he delivered an Oscar-worthy performance, claiming that ICE abducted and “disappeared” him.

He began speaking at large Islamic conferences and campus events, trashing America, Israel, and lying about ICE.

He’s still at Georgetown. The university received $640 MILLION in federal funding in 2025.

They’re on track to get upwards of $650-$700 million in the coming months for the 2026-2027 academic year.

I don’t know WTH the Trump administration is doing, but I know what they’re NOT doing.
