@WVMEERO @AktionDHilft @cblaguardia#Ukraine
Kharkiv is becoming more and more difficult to live every day. Kids are caught in the middle of this conflict. I was able to visit a joint World Vision Save Ukraine project for children for mental health/ education services in a safe place. Kids deserve safety. #worldvision
@WorldVision representatives visited #SaveUkraine#Community_Centers in #Kharkiv and Vysoke. The delegation includes Response Director, World Vision Ukraine Crisis, @chrispalusky, Project Coordinator Maksym Didukh, Security and Access Manager Liudmyla Serdiukova, Risk and Compliance Officer Diana Bilousova, as well as Head of the Save Ukraine Fund Oleksii Fedchenko, and Сoordinator of Community Centers Olha Filina.
The visit took place within the project to fill in for educational losses and psychosocial support for children, which we implemented with the support of #WorldVision and funding from the European Union (ECHO). Its goal is to overcome educational losses and provide psychosocial support to children in 11 Community Centers throughout Ukraine.
During the visit, the guests assessed the security level of the centers, checked the shelters, and talked with specialists. Children enthusiastically told about their activities and showed drawings and handworks.
We are grateful to our partners for their support and help in implementing such an important project for the children of Ukraine. Strength is in unity!

"Two years on since the beginning of the conflict in #Ukraine... @worldvision is now working on education, MHPSS and child protection while responding to the needs of the most vulnerable AND 80% of our activities are actually run by local organizations." said @WVUCR Response Director @chrispalusky #FragilityForum2024 #WVWB24 #ukraineconflict
It was an honor to see the Church’s commitment to vulnerable families in and around Ukraine. I was able to meet with the Archbishop of Canterbury to see how the Church can help more. https://t.co/0zA90nAsN7

It was our privilege to host the Archbishop of Canterbury @JustinWelby in Ukraine this week, amid heart-breaking violence in the country. Our staff at @WVUCR discussed potential partnerships as we continue supporting children affected by the conflict. https://t.co/DwqG52yjCz
Our hearts & prayers are with people of Ukraine, esp the most vulnerable, in view of massive attacks this past week and today. World Vision is closely monitoring the situation. #Ukraine
#EmpowerWomen: Women like Tatiana in Ukraine are in the heart of our response programs, and as we celebrate #16DaysOfActivismAgainstGBV. The challenges women & girls face on a crisis is massive, let us work alongside them so their needs are supported. https://t.co/eLAw14zsRp
Such urgent needs arising in #NagornoKarabakh glad World Vision is there and has been there to help meet the emergency needs especially of children #Refugee
As conflict escalated in #NagornoKarabakh, almost 120k ethnic Armenians have to leave their homes and flee to #Armenia, including 35k #children, the situation is dire.
Julian Srodecki, Humanitarian Emergency Affairs Director for World Vision Middle East Eastern Europe Region is in Vayk, closer to the border, to understand the urgent humanitarian needs.

Meeting with mothers who are in impossible situations is sobering. Amazed at the tenacity of these amazing moms and their love for their kids. @HealthRight doing amazing things #Refugees#Ukraina#kidsbooks
We have reached 1.2M people in response to the #Ukrainecrisis. Our efforts, together with donors & partners, are more focused on children, their protection, education & health. We added livelihoods to our plan so their families can provide well for them. https://t.co/JDW0siZLAu
Today is an important day as we celebrate the #WorldRefugeeDay. Let's remember that over a year ago, millions of lives were changed by the war in #Ukraine. Each of us has a role to play to give the refugees and the displaced #hopeawayfromhome. Be the light in this difficult time.
Every child has the right to a childhood without fear of violence.
As conflict in #Ukraine continues, the toll on children continues to be devastating.

Children are not a target. The impact of the flooding caused by #NovaKakhovkaDam poses incalculable threat to their future. World Vision is on the ground responding with UN and partners - together we must act urgently to protect and preserve our children's future. #NotATarget
My heart is heavy with the recent news of #NovaKakhova dam's destruction and flooding that affected thousands of #Ukraine's population near the #DniproRiver. The impact on children's lives and future is heartbreaking. This needs to stop; lives must be saved.
