Such a great start to Connect After School Church yesterday - thank you to all who came along. Very thankful for all the amazing volunteers and the wonderful team at @FStMichaels for hosting and helping to make this happen. Can’t wait for some more faith-filled-fun next week.

The upshot of it all - 'The intolerance of tolerance' by D A Carson is a good read!

[chris pearse @chrispearse1000]

Those who adhere to the new view of tolerance tolerate everything except those who hold a different view of tolerance than themselves

[chris pearse @chrispearse1000]

Old view of Tolerance=accepting existence of different views. New view of tolerance=accepting different views. Subtle but vital difference.

I think I trust Solomons take on things over derrens though...

[chris pearse @chrispearse1000]

Derren brown's 'we are hardwired for faith' sounds remarkably like solomon's 'God has set eternity in the hearts of men'
