I am amazed by the apparent lack of Common Sense. If you are offended by anything I write, nothing happens and you will get over it. My views are my own.
@RSmigg @MirrorBreaking_ I am a bus driver on 13:07 p.h. we have just been offered an 8.4% payrise along with some favourable changes to conditions. This will take us to 14:17 p.h. How can £14 ph be an acceptable wage for junior Drs?
@TVMartinRoberts So sorry to hear of the passing of your father Martin. I lost my father in 1998, I was only 31 at the time and didn't know how to deal with it, so kept all my emotion in. The grief then hit me hard one day out of the blue almost two years later. Grieve now, don't hold back.
@LUFC55 @nickggilbert @GazJacksonrmt@RMTunion You need to get out then mate as my company isn't haulage but we're paid £3:18 above minimum wage and our drivers are leaving/training for HGV roles with a higher hourly rate. Sounds like you're really being tucked up by your company.
@virginmedia I have checked your outage information and it says I can get BBC1,2, ITV, ITV+1 and CH4 along with Apps. We'll all I can get is BBC1 and CH4 and can't access APPS so that information is wrong, have two I'll very whingy 4 year olds who don't understand why they can't watch things
@BorisJohnson you need a new work & pensions secretary if the one you already have thinks the removal of £20 UC uplift means claimants will only have to work an extra 2 hours. Minimum wage is £8.91 which means they'd have to work 6 hours extra to benefit after the 63% taper.
@WinchesterCops You need to check out the white car that parks at the bottom of Shorts Rd by the junction of Sandy Lane in Fair Oak. Makes it very awkward for the buses that use that route, going into and coming out of.
@WinchesterCops you post a lot of covid checks in the surrounding area, but do you actually do them in the City? I ask this as I struggle to understand how busking with a saxophone outside Primark today complies with the Stay at Home message we're supposed to be following.
@hantsconnect I have travelled on two occasions through the contraflow on the A31 by the lorry park and witnessed ambulances under blues stuck in the traffic travelling at 30mph. Would it not make more sense to allow emergency services access through the lorry park unimpeded?
@WinchesterCops What about essential shopping. Is it acceptable to use public transport several times a week to travel from to Winchester and shop from areas that have sufficient shopping outlets? I would say it's not, but there appears to be no covid compliance checks on public transport.
@WinchesterCops Drive past that requlary during work, it's never busy. Could be due to restrictions or government just panicked too much. Hopefully it won't last long and the road will be returned to normal.
@BorisJohnson congratulations to you and Carrie on the birth of your son. Wishing you all the best from the Peart family Chris (52) Nakita (30) and twins Tannah & Rayla (2).
@MrsMummypennyUK just seen your interview on ITV news. You failed to mention to the lady who asked about help if she stayed home to childcare that she could ask to be furloughed if her employers are doing it.
@HantsPolRoads Too many people not heeded government advice and putting others and themselves at risk. We have a neighbour who goes out in his car at least 3 times a day never brings back any shopping and went out yesterday still not returned, so obviously away for the weekend.
