Finished all the Text Encounters for the Synegraph free demo. The ones in level 2 let you place 2 cards to match harder conditions. This gets especially tricky when trying to avoid the Failure condition next to the"!". #indiedev #indiegame #gamedev #roguelike

(Normally you want to place 3 cards in that situation because then even if I draw an odd valued Air card, I still have one more card to place and I can use that card to offset the total value to be either even or odd)

Pretty happy how the sprites for the Training Dummies came out in Synegraph, the Poker Roguelike. Since the game is heavily based around standard playing cards, all the enemies have the mirrored look of face cards.

The game also has deck building elements. Text encounters like you're used to from other Roguelikes like Slay the Spire, let you change cards in your deck to better suit the build you're going for. You also pick which option you want by playing cards! #gamedev #indiedev
