@footballandhops@stevebuccs My son doesn’t throw as hard (48-50) but he likes throwing the one-seam sinker. Put the two fingers on either side of the right horseshoe seam. Since the fingers are on the white instead of the seam, it’ll have less backspin so it naturally sinks.
@footballandhops@stevebuccs At 9 with that velo, he probably just needs to throw a chin high FB as an out pitch. For a cutter, put the horseshoe on the right side, tilt the ball slightly with the middle finger on the horseshoe and tell him to throw a FB. Once he gets used to it, it’ll start cutting.
@AlTheBoss03 I think there are hitters that may be capable but they’re being asked to strike out or hit home runs. That being said, it’s been pretty rare in baseball history and with the combination of specialized pitching and the launch angle era, highly unlikely
@ProjectGokuu Sorry, number 5 is nonsense. My son has adhd and him having a great night of sleep is not equal (or even close) to the benefit from a behavioral standpoint from taking his meds.
@shegone03@MLB@Rangers MLB isn’t in the baseball business anymore, they’re in the entertainment business. They think fans want to see home runs, bat flips and cellies
@TheLaurenChen I’ve always thought it was odd that we tip based on the value of the check. There is no real difference in effort for the server to drop off a steak or a salad. When I was a server, I always loved it when people ordered expensive items. I was going to make more $ for same effort
