Scale a system built on interruption and you just add more stops, crosswalks, merges, and traffic. That’s why the average American now spends 2 weeks a year getting to and from work.
As urban populations continue to grow, cities need a mobility system that moves more people, faster, and for less as it scales. Enter Flow Networks: autonomous vehicles on dedicated guideways, dispatched on demand, that go from pickup to drop-off without a single stop along the way.
The numbers behind the Network:
- 10,000 people an hour in a 5.5 ft lane (5x throughput in half the width of a road)
- Sub-second headways (5x tighter than human reaction time allows)
- Capital costs 90% below rail
The cities building Flow Networks aren’t just cutting commute times. They’re setting themselves up to capitalize on an era of massive urban growth.

Proud to partner with great organizations to help define the future of urban mobility in South Metro Atlanta.
This isn't a vehicle problem. It's an architecture problem.
Put any vehicle — AV or not — in a city designed around stopping and shared use and you get deadheading, idling, and traffic.
That’s why Glydways is building Flow Networks — the architecture to take AV 1.0 into AV 2.0. On-demand rides. Continuous movement. No competition for capacity.

Traffic is not a law of nature. It is the result of mobility systems designed around interruption.
Flow Networks replace interruption with continuous movement: no waiting, no transfers, no congestion.
This is AV 2.0.
Watch @theMarkSeeger on @business discussing why the future of mobility is not about more vehicles — it is about flow.

The first ever Flow Network will be operating in South Metro Atlanta at the end of this year.
Thank you to our incredible partners whose vision and collaboration have made this milestone possible: the @ATLAIRPORTCIDS, @MARTAtransit, @GADeptofTrans, @ClaytonCountyGA, @FultonInfo, and @CollegePark_Ga.
Cities have been built on interruption for over a century. South Metro Atlanta is going to change that.
A self-driving car stuck in traffic is still just a car…stuck in traffic.
@Bloomberg points to the “iron law of congestion”: when movement gets easier, demand increases. Robotaxis reduce the friction of getting a ride—but more trips still mean more traffic.
That's AV 1.0. It places a powerful technology into a system built to limit it.
AV 2.0 replaces the system entirely–Flow Network. A fully autonomous, fully coordinated network built for continuous and abundant flow of people at a radically lower cost.

This is where Flow Networks begin and autonomous vehicles 1.0 turns into 2.0.
The Glydways Development Facility is where vehicle development, design, and operations come together as one system. It’s where Flow Networks are built, tested, and proven.
Continuous integration. Continuous development. Continuous deployment.
The same logic that defines Flow Networks defines how we build them.
Glydcars on the development guideway today. Deployed in cities around the world in 2026.
Cities were built on proximity.
Flow Networks just made proximity optional.
Glydways and @ParkinUAE will be working together to launch Parkin Mobility, a new product that combines best-in-class parking with a direct Flow Network connection. Simply park at a garage connected to the Glydways network, leave your car, and flow directly to your destination. Rides are on-demand, without stops, without congestion.
Seamless, direct, on demand.
Built with Parkin. Deployed in Dubai. https://t.co/og1Fs5fbq0
Autonomy was just step one.
Flow is what unlocks it.
AV 2.0 is here.
Watch Glydways Founder & Co-CEO @theMarkSeeger discuss our mobility system designed around continuous movement on @Bloomberg with hosts @SheryAhnNews and @HaidiLun. https://t.co/uuP9jxq82B
The industry has spent a decade asking: can cars drive themselves?
Now a different question is emerging: Why are they still sitting in traffic?
This piece captures something important:
The future isn’t robotaxis competing on crowded roads (AV1.0). It’s systems designed for continuous movement from the start (AV2.0).
That’s what we’re building.
Not vehicles.
Not routes.
Not schedules.
A network. A Flow Network. Where vehicles flow, continuously.
This is what autonomy was always meant to become.
Thank you to @kirstenkorosec and @TechCrunch for the feature. https://t.co/Z2S8s1i9zx
Everyone is racing to build autonomous vehicles.
But an autonomous vehicle in traffic is still in traffic.
That’s the mistake.
This article points to something bigger: the shift from vehicles… to systems.
From stop-and-go movement, to continuous flow.
From traffic, to networks.
That’s what we’re building.
Not better cars. A fundamentally different way for cities to move.
Autonomy AV1.0 was the breakthrough. Flow Networks AV2.0 are what make it matter.

Glydways CCO Chris Riley met with Chief Minister Shri @NayabSainiBJP and @suzukicojp this week to discuss bringing smart, sustainable mobility to Haryana, through Glydways' Automated Transit Network (ATN).
We look forward to continuing the conversation and sharing how Glydways is a viable solution for reducing congestion and improving the commuter experience in India.
Chief Minister Shri @NayabSainiBJP held a high-level meeting with a delegation from Suzuki Motor Corporation and Glydways at Sant Kabir Kutir (CM Residence), to discuss the proposed Glydways pod transit system in Haryana.
The discussions focused on modernising urban transport, with an emphasis on developing Gurugram as a model for smart and sustainable mobility. Key areas included the feasibility of pod taxi services, route planning, Public-Private Partnership (PPP) opportunities, and potential pilot projects.
The delegation briefed about Glydways, an advanced driverless, automated and on-demand transit system designed for fast, safe and energy-efficient urban mobility. The Chief Minister reiterated the State Government’s commitment to supporting innovative, future-ready transport solutions for smooth and effective implementation.
@suzukicojp
We had an incredible visit with @MiamiDadeCounty Commissioner @Ogilbert at Glydways last week.
Commissioner Gilbert has long been a powerful voice for transportation leadership in Miami-Dade County and a champion for ensuring that underserved communities have access to reliable, modern mobility options. His commitment to expanding opportunity through better connectivity reflects a deep understanding that transportation is not just about moving people — it’s about unlocking economic opportunity, access to jobs, and stronger communities.
We were honored to share how Glydways’ Automated Transit Network (ATN) can help support that vision by delivering fast, on-demand transit that expands access and connects communities across the region.
Glydways is looking forward to a continued partnership!
Driverless cars won’t solve traffic. They’ll add to it.
This @business piece by @DavidZipper lays it out: more autonomous vehicles mean more trips, more empty miles, and more congestion on already crowded streets. They are not the solution.
At Glydways, we move people off mixed-traffic roads entirely.
Our system moves more people faster and more affordably through a network of compact dedicated lanes, while still offering the privacy and convenience of an on-demand ride.
No Traffic. No Stops. Direct to your destination.

South Metro Atlanta is growing quickly and operating around the clock, yet its transit options haven’t always been able to keep up.
That’s why we’re excited to bring Glydways to the region. Last month, we broke ground on our Automated Transit Network (ATN) demonstration pilot, introducing nonstop, point-to-point mobility designed to support the way residents and visitors actually move.
This milestone marks the beginning of what automated transit can unlock for South Metro Atlanta: seamless connections, greater accessibility, and a system built for a community that never stops.
