@HighwaysWMIDS is there any reason why the M5 is down to 50 miles an hour between Junction five and six in both directions? traffic is moving fine? Except for all the cars that sit in lane two and three and block the trucks in.

@HighwaysWMIDS last month toy were working on the M5 J5-6 & the speed was 50MPH and this caused no end of problems. you put it back to 60 all was fine. Today you’ve done it again 50 for technical work. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@HighwaysWMIDS why is the M5 between Worcester and the M42 reduced to 50 mph in both directions on every matrix and has been for the last two days and there’s not traffic cone, any roadworks or recovery.
There is more disruption with traffic sitting across all 4 lanes at 50 mph?

@NationalHways there is a matrix sign just after junction 9 on the M42 northbound saying that the A42 is closed at Junction 14 where the M1 M1 but that’s the only matrix sign showing this

Update - The #M4 #PrinceofWalesBridge westbound has reopened following overnight carriageway resurfacing.

Traffic flowing well in the area. Have a safe onward journey.

@BromsgroveDC reported this car yesterday was told that parking enforcement would be out to have a look The next day and it’s still parked on double yellow lines on the footpath opposite a junction, causing no end of trouble Sherwood Road.

@WorcsTravel any reason why there’s a sign on the Worcester Road at Stoke Heath, roundabout saying A38 South closed at Wychbold when it’s clearly open. Could be causing a lot of traffic. It’s not local to be turning around at the roundabout and going back through Bromsgrove
