1/ Our review of time toxicity in lymphoma & multiple myeloma, led by my @fredhutch neighbor @DiMengyang, now out in Leukemia & Lymphoma!
As treatments get better in #lymsm & #MMsm, important to consider time at home in protocols & SOC workflows.

medical debt kills.
this probably doesn't come as a surprise, but millions of Americans live the consequences of this daily.
that's unacceptable.
thanks @JAMANetworkOpen for the opportunity 🖊️ and excited for future work ahead 💪🏼

Great to see our #MMsm work out in CLML!
For patients living with myeloma:
1️⃣ Financial toxicity risk the same regardless of disease status
2️⃣ 37% of patients on maintenance reported 'time toxicity.'
More interventions in this space coming soon!

by far my favorite photo from ASH - with @UMHemOncFellows alumni! our paths may have taken us to 3 different time zones, but we are united in our love of Red, the @ASH_hematology mascot😉
In a News and Views now published online, Christopher Su & Veena Shankaran discuss the PRO-TECT trial of digital symptom assessment-based screening for financial toxicity: https://t.co/frbbUXH6lG
thanks @ASH_hematology for the amazing experience in Washington DC to advocate for important hematology initiatives including funding to #NIH and #CDC to #ConquerSCD and #Fight4Hematology. best conference (yet) this year! 😆🩸
#JCOOP Editorial @chrissuMD: As we continue to seek financial equity in cancer care, there is not a one-size-fits-all approach. The unique voices & tx journeys of patients w/ #hematologicmalignancies deserve dedicated attention. https://t.co/56tXrXbfXM #financialtoxicity
@nickgenes beat me to the punch, but excited for our new paper examining antibiotic stewardship in telemedicine. Health system-affiliated emergency physicians prescribed antibiotics much less often than contractor-supplied docs for ARI visits (almost always viral). (1/5)
thanks to @ASH_hematology for giving us this platform. really proud of the great work by all of the poster presenters!😊financial toxicity is an old tale, but it's a developing story with lots of progress to be made in the future.📈proud to be a researcher in this field!💪
