Trump finally being held accountable for his efforts to overturn an election he lost is a good thing for the rule of law.

But at the same time, the fact that that Trump did this TO us, and that we are here, is also a very sad day for America.

My little brother and SIL has been here for the last 4 weeks and they’re leaving tomorrow. I’m feeling all the feels. We’ve been side-by-side through this whole thing. Ugh.

He’s been impeached twice.
He’s been indicted twice.
He’s been found liable for sexual abuse & defamation.
He’s under investigation for attempting to overturn a legitimate Presidential election, both federally and on the state level.
And despite ALL of this - there is STILL a very strong chance that the Republican Party will once again put Donald Trump at the top of their ticket.
Let that sink in.
