@SofiaBSocial It happened to me, too. Lesbian gf dumped me to go back to her ex husband because she was too scared of telling him and her family that she's a lesbian. She was convinced that they were going to have her kids taken away if they found out. (I'm disabled with chronic illness)
@ej_leonard78 @paulblanco87 @huttlett@Jesse_Livermore@aliarikan I have a very serious immune disorder and had absolutely NO side affects from the vaccine. Both shots. Paul is a troll. Look at their tweets and replies. They're pushing Ivermectin.
@Techbot Maybe I've missed something but you're not making sense with this thread, Captain. Posting a wiki page without explaining what you mean isn't helping me understand what your point was.
@PeaceLoveStones@kgopinion These conditions are a lifetime battle of first trying to figure out what's going on, then actually finding a Dr willing to listen, and then actually finding a helpful treatment. Ppl w/ EDS go on average 20 years between onset of symptoms until diagnosis. 8/
@PeaceLoveStones@kgopinion I haven't even touched upon how my dad nearly died 3 times from co-morbid conditions because Drs were completely clueless about these conditions. Two brain surgeries and a near death bout of diverticulitis later he's very frail and can't do much anymore. 7/
@PeaceLoveStones@kgopinion terminating our patient Dr relationship 2 months later... leaving me disabled and without a Dr in a town with a Dr shortage and years of wait lists to get a new Dr. If it was as easy as you make it sound I wouldn't have lost as much of my life as I have. 6/
@PeaceLoveStones@kgopinion My last Dr told me that the only thing wrong with me is that I'm depressed and tried for years to push antidepressants on me. When I came back to him with the info on EDS, MCAS, and dysautonomia he got visibly angry and told me to find a new Dr. I got a notice in the mail 5/
@PeaceLoveStones@kgopinion to drop their ego and learn. Those Drs are VERY RARE. It took me 25 years of searching and decades of my life ruined. The only reason why I even know about these conditions is because I figured it out on my own 5 years ago. No Dr ever took me seriously up until then. 4/
@PeaceLoveStones@kgopinion conditions than any Dr I've ever seen. Thankfully as of last year I finally have a good GP who is listening. I'm putting together a package of info on these conditions for her. It's easy to say that it's an opportunity to to educate but half the battle is finding a Dr willing 3/
@PeaceLoveStones@kgopinion I have medical PTSD from Drs gaslighting me and making it seem that I'm crazy when I have very real physiological conditions. I spent the last 5 years reading medical studies because I had to learn to educate myself because Drs don't help. I'm now more of an expert in these 2/
@PeaceLoveStones@kgopinion Your family member is very privileged. I've been asking Drs for help for 25 years and have been told every step of the way that it's psychosomatic and just take antidepressants. My story is the norm for these conditions. I WISH I it as lucky as your family member 1/
@clarityforusa@lmauricecpr My bff died suddenly late last year. It threw me into a deep depression. Just slowly coming out of it. I've reached out to dozens of ppl close to me in an "appropriate" manner. Only about 3 or 4 responded appropriately. The lack of support isn't on me & it's insulting to imply so
@JoannaNoBanana Just bc you can't see it doesn't mean that it's not completely debilitating. Some days are better than others. Just bc I'm more functional some days doesn't mean that I'm faking it on days when I'm less functional. Collagen supplements, essential oils, or yoga won't cure it.
@Familylawcourts @longarmtx @AsIfIHadWings Agreed. Ghosting is cowardly and cruel. An ex ghosted me. Only "came back" 3 months later to email me that it's over because her best friend forced her to. Turns out, her family pressured her to get back w/her ex-husband. Her best friend dropped her friendship for ghosting me.
