@JanetEmson It depends on the book. If I really don't care for it, I DNF and giveit away. I am a moody reader so if it is a mood, I do put it aside for later!
While the bulk of Baby Season is behind us, we still have tons of babies growing up!
These 3 opossums are currently weaning & growing in our Mammal Nursery, experiencing new solid foods daily. One can be seen dragging a native Pawpaw fruit into the hide - must've been a hit!
Happy #worldembroideryday 🎉 Embroidery is my art and my happy place. I have a love of colourful threads and I stitch imaginary pieces onto upcycled denim inspired by nature, literature and the arts. Here’s just a few of them… 🤗🧵🪡🌿🌺🩰 #stitchedart#thesewingsongbird
Nestling Northern Flickers - 6 Weeks in 60 seconds!
Watch our nestling Northern Flickers grow up, from being only days old to being released 6 weeks later. Our staff, volunteers, and interns took great joy in watching these babies grow up, develop, & become competent adults.

@KimberCanada49 I am so proud of you. My husband went through that thought process too and it was very hard for him but did bring an improvement of life circumstances. The process is so hard right when you do not need things to be hard. Sending good thoughts and hugs your way
@VerbsRProudest When my kids were younger we did it with a set of encyclopaedias before donating them (to an artist that used books for art projects) and it was wild. That would be more fun though!
I buy a lot of used books and I am reading one now where someone played editor but keeps marking out a word that is correct and pencilling in one that is wrong. They really are having trouble with lose and loose. 😆
