If you’re looking to shake things up after the final international break of the year, this draft blends strong data with clever differentials.

Goalkeepers: Verbruggen (4.0% TSB) and Kelleher (7.7%) form a cheap, reliable pairing with a great fixture rotation - Burnley, Villa, West Ham, Leeds and Wolves/Sunderland. Brighton are 5th lowest for xGC (13.2) and Brentford 7th (13.5), both slightly unlucky to have conceded more than expected. Crucially, both keepers are nailed starters. Moving away from Raya’s high ownership frees funds to strengthen the rest of the squad.

Defenders: Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Liverpool all have favourable fixtures, so the backline leans into that. Muñoz (15.9%) offers attacking and differential appeal with Wolves, Burnley and Fulham in the next four. Gabriel (43.6%) remains the safe Arsenal route, combining defensive security with set-piece threat. Van Dijk (23%) is a standout with Liverpool’s run and high DEFCON potential. Collins (1.1%) is a shrewd rotation pick - 9.64 DEFCON per 90 and guaranteed 90s - while Truffert (2.4%) is a budget-friendly route into the Bournemouth defence now Senesi is £5.0m.

Midfielders: This is where the team gets interesting. Saka (£9.9m) and Bruno Fernandes (£8.9m) are must-haves for anyone targeting a top 10K finish - both on penalties, consistent, and reliable captain options. Beyond that, I really like Minteh (£6.0m), Foden (£8.0m), and Tavernier (£5.5m) as lower-owned options. Minteh (4.7%) has quietly produced 1 goal and 5 assists from 3.8xGI, with excellent fixtures ahead. Foden (4.4%) has started City’s last six, completing 90 minutes in five, and ranks in the top 7% for chances created - he’s due more returns. Tavernier (1.7%) is a smart budget enabler and a sensible alternative to Semenyo, whose price has risen sharply and whose penalty role is now uncertain. On corners and some free-kicks, he has multiple routes into points with 2 goals and 1 assist already.

Forwards: Haaland leads the line as the obvious premium choice - penalties, goals, and the potential for Triple Captain in GW17 vs West Ham. Alongside him, Igor Thiago (£6.3m) continues to impress with 8 goals from 5.8xG (including penalties) and remains under 10% owned. Marshall (or Guiu/Kroupi Jr) is simply a cheap bench filler who keeps flexibility in your structure.
