Don’t be lazy and make assumptions about people. Ask about their stories. Then listen. Genuinely listen.
Be humble. Be teachable.
Be human. Be a good neighbor.
Remember, you can’t love your neighbors if you don’t know your neighbors.
Me. Me. Me. Me. Me.
This isn’t leadership.
Rather...
Serve others.
Wash feet.
Be humble.
Be gracious.
Be gentle.
Be sacrificial.
Be compassionate.
Place others above yourself.
This is the way of Christ. And the world needs to see this kind of leadership. May it begin with me.
Freedom starts with honesty. We aren’t doing ourselves any favors by defining ourselves as good and others as bad. Let’s just agree that we all need help, that we are all in this together.
