Talking to my (super conservative) mom about the concept of desecration of human remains and how people can't just do whatever they want with a corpse. She said, "so someone who isn't alive has more rights than a living person?"

I think that my employer making me sacrifice sleep after work (when I have to go back tonight) to attend a mandatory meeting about self care is counterintuitive. Twice now.
