Can you only get a massage if someone gifts you one? I understand. But the benefits of massage should be more accessible via the healthcare system. I explain in my post.
There's still a place for high-end spas though. If you can afford the upgrades, go for it.

I am deeply grateful to the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, for appointing me as a member of the Supreme Apostolic Signatura. I receive this responsibility with a profound sense of stewardship, recognizing that every office in the Church is entrusted for the service of Christ, His people, and the mission of the Gospel.
As we commemorate the 800th anniversary of the Transitus of our patron, St. Francis of Assisi, I pray that his example of humble fidelity to Christ and joyful service to others will continue to shape my ministry.
Please join me in praying for Pope Leo XIV, for the Church throughout the world, and that I may fulfill this responsibility with wisdom, charity and a generous heart.
Just days before Easter, Pope Leo renewed his appeal for peace in a world wounded by conflict and violence.
In remarks to journalists in Castel Gandolfo, he addressed all world leaders, urging them: “Come back to the table, to dialogue. Let's look for solutions to problems, let's look for ways to reduce the amount of violence that we're promoting, that peace - especially at Easter - might reign in our hearts."
On this feast day of St. Frances Cabrini: "There are Saints Among Us" https://t.co/QH4QTapxeq
Did Cabrini’s critics realize she would one day be declared a saint? Probably not. Even if they thought she was doing good, she was still judged for being Italian, a nun, a woman, and for her determination.
A nun who became a saint would get her discernment through prayer with God, although some say the film, "Cabrini" didn't make that clear.
Some commented that she appeared too bossy in the film. But when the power of the Holy Spirit takes over the life of a saint, no one can judge their actions as being completely personal. The Holy Spirit doesn’t create a big ego but can inspire a person with great zeal to help and serve others in the name of God.
Mother Cabrini, pray for us!
If Jesus asked you to follow Him, would you know what to do? Today, the feast day of St. Therese of Lisieux, we can look to her as an example. Her greatest desire was to be a saint, and she tried with enthusiastic love for Jesus and by making simple sacrifices, which earned her the nickname “The Little Flower”. We don't need to do big things to impress Jesus, because as Therese shows us, even the little things count.

Today, we venerate the lives of Saints Cosmas and Damian. They were twin brothers, and both physicians and martyrs. The last time I had surgery, I prayed for their intercession, and all went well.

On this day, September 17, 2025, St. Hildegard of Bingen’s feast day, please celebrate with me with these excerpts from past interviews about saints, health, music, Benedictines, and St. Hildegard.

St. Hildegard was a very blessed saintly woman, but even though we can’t all be like her, we can still be saints. Really! I asked Fr. Faller about the saints. And he says we don’t need to be extraordinary to be a saint. Video inside post.

If only Jesus were physically beside me so he could say, "Leave her alone!" The best way to be defended is by Jesus himself.
