This might be the hardest story I've ever written.

NEW: my mentions, comments, and DMs are full of slurs so i though it was a good time to talk about the ongoing paywall debate. The internet is in a complicated battle between knowledge, access, and compensation — here’s how I inadvertently got involved https://t.co/okwxDL1LJJ
Ms. Rachel talks to Rolling Stone about the backlash she faced for supporting Palestine, recalling moments when she felt like everyone hated her:
“Why do people hate that I don’t want kids to be killed and starved?”

Ms. Rachel reveals she was warned she might lose partnerships and views for showing her support for Palestine:
“That doesn’t faze me because the kids gave me the platform. I’m going to stand with them no matter what. People on the ground in Gaza are risking their lives all the time to help kids. I can do it from Manhattan.”

Today, I am filing a lawsuit against Columbia University and SIPA Dean Keren Yarhi-Milo for their gross and systemic discrimination against Palestinian students at Columbia. I am joined in this action by my friends at the Palestine Working Group.
Columbia laid the groundwork for my targeting by the Trump administration through its deliberate indifference and discrimination aimed at intimidating Palestinian students. For over two years, we pleaded with Columbia. Columbia did not care. Our safety and our wellbeing did not serve the ideological project its Board of Trustees was protecting, so they traded us away.
We are suing because no student should ever have to go through the hell Columbia put us through all these years.
I will continue to seek accountability for all the wrongs that were done to me and my peers. Next, I will turn to the hateful individuals at Columbia who were also responsible for what we endured. Stay tuned.

There is a corner of the internet I had never heard of before I started reporting this story.
It’s called the “burnerverse”: a sprawling network of anonymous college-sports accounts that can look, at first glance, like ordinary shitposting.
Then I started looking closer. And what I found was a highly coordinated network of hundreds of anon accounts, dedicated to doxxing girls and ruining their lives.
My investigation for @WIRED — including some of the men allegedly behind some of these accounts — is out now. https://t.co/4t3XESCOND
