Stop deluding yourself that your partner will not find someone like you. That is just delusion enveloped in arrogance. Nobody is irreplaceable. It is always best to tell yourself it is over and wish them well
Who told you they want someone like you? You might be better looking, richer or more educated, more advanced in careeer, but you're not what they want. Your arrogance about who you are and what you've achieved will not let you accept you're not what they want. So you convince yourself you're too much for them. Alright, you're too much but they don't want you. Deal with it.
People are better than you out there. People are more suitable for your Ex than you out there. Expecting your Ex to not move on and be hurting from missing you is a gross delusion. That is why you hurt a lot when your Ex moves on first. Why are you bothered if they got a new partner after convincing yourself they would not see somebody like you?
Some of you even curse your Ex to never be happy. You need to wake up. But yhe embarrassing thing you do is comparing yourself to your Ex's new partner. Are they better looking, what do they do? Where do they live? Are they riches? Are they happier? You'll just die of heart attack. Learn to move on. They dont deserve you, but na you dey cry. LMAO
People don't need another you to replace you. They just need someone that is good for them. They are not settling, they are happy. Use your "superior" qualities and qualification to find your own person. You need to wake up from your delusion
Bob Mueller was one of the finest directors in the history of the FBI, transforming the bureau afterย 9/11ย and saving countless lives. But it was his relentless commitment to the rule of law and his unwavering belief in our bedrock values that made him one of the most respected public servants of our time. Michelle and I send our condolences to Bobโs family, and everyone who knew and admired him.
I had a friend.
Sharp guy.
Hustling, building, always had something in the works. But his problem was simple... he loved to talk before he did things or before the deals were done.
He told his boys about the land he was about to buy before he paid the deposit. Two weeks later, someone close to him quietly moved on that same plot. He found out after the papers were signed.
He told people about a contract he was negotiating. Someone in that same circle knew the other party. The numbers got back to them. He lost his leverage and had to accept less than he deserved.
He told a mutual friend his relationship was on shaky at the moment... That same friend slid into his woman's DMs with "I'm here if you need to talk." She didn't leave him for the guy... but something shifted.
Something that never fully came back.
None of these people were his enemies. That's the part that should frighten you. They were people who ate at his table, laughed at his jokes, called him brother.
Information is power... and when you hand it to people freely, you are giving them power over your life that they never earned.
A man who talks too much hands people the blueprint to his downfall... your dreams are not content.
Your struggles are not gist.
Your next move is not a preview.
Guard your life like it depends on it... because it does.
I went to school when Goodluck Jonathan was President. That was during Nigeria's economic boom. Yet, I saw people struggle to pay N12k for school fees. I saw people come to school with N2k, N5k as pocket money. Some came with foodstuff and "remember the home you came from."
Flight to Benin was between N12k to N18k. I usually went to school, filling the biggest travelling box with provision, and it cost me N30k to do that. My pocket money was between N25 to N30k and it was sufficient. I was feeding my friends in hostel and was named most generous person in the hostel. I went to a to secondary school with children of the rich, so I already knew the other reality of life. What I was seeing in UNIBEN was a far cry. To do everything I listed above today, you need over 500k because this government has plunged us into darkness.
Now, in 2026, when our lives should have significantly improved from the progress made by the GEJ government, we went from the clueless Buhari to killer of hope Tinubu. Exchange rate is over the roof. Flight is exorbitant. Feeding is a luxury. School fees is out of the reach of two income household. People are dying daily because they cant afford health care. The government is taxing people to death. Yet, we have clowns defending the cost of living in a country that minimum wage is N70k.
Meanwhile, the money released for health care of 200m people was N36 million naira. NNPC stole N210 Trillion but it is the masses that should be taxed to raise money and the masses that should have to endure economic hardship and pay exorbitant fee to get the available poor quality education. Today, people are paying above 100k to 500k for public education. Nonsense!
I am very convinced you people defending this are mad and with all due disrespect, you're very mad.
Government had little contributions in their failure. The failed themselves.
Shoprite failed to truly localize its strategy in Nigeria. Over the years, the brand didnโt push aggressively into neighborhood-level supermarkets. Most of its outlets remained in major malls, which limited accessibility for everyday shoppers. For many Nigerians, visiting Shoprite became more of an outing a chance to explore outside the house rather than a convenient place to quickly buy daily essentials.
Meanwhile, smaller and more flexible retailers saw the opportunity and moved faster. Brands like Justrite, Jendol Superstores, Hutoos, and Bokku Mart expanded aggressively into neighborhood locations, bringing supermarkets closer to where people actually live. Today, you can find them in many corners of the country.
With stores already in your area, the question becomes simple: why would you travel far to Shoprite? If you donโt have a car, youโll likely need to book a ride and that transport money could easily cover one or two items from the closer store.
Government policies may have created some operational challenges for Shoprite, but the bigger issue appears to be a lack of forward-thinking management strategy. In retail, proximity and convenience win. The brands that understood this early have now taken the mantle and built stronger neighborhood connections with customers.
