I'm Chris, your local Ottawa mortgage broker who can usually be found traveling, skiing, or taking photos. Pick and choose which tweets you take seriously.
@twitandrewking My dad had an '80 900 Turbo and then an '86 9000 Turbo. I'll always have a soft spot for Saabs.
Plus they build fighter jets too! Not many (any?) other cars you could drive and say that about.
@twitandrewking@GordonMajcher This surprises me. Ultramar is the local station here in Limoges and I always use 91 for my car and small engines. Didn't realize they were the only ones not adding ethanol to that grade now.
@twitandrewking I thought you'd appreciate this Walther PPK we just got back from the gunsmith deactivating it. My grandfather "procured" it during the war and so it has some history to it. This was a surprise when we opened the gun cabinet after my dad's passing a few years ago.
If you have aging parents with firearms, talk to them about dealing with them before they pass. Especially if some of them aren't quite legal after all the rule changes over the years. It wasn't too big of a pain, but still a bit of an ordeal with my late father's guns.
@jayfournier@ALL_CAPS Ya, ask me on a different day and 4-5-6 may be Res Dogs, Basterds, then Jackie. After the top 3 it's hard to put them in any particular order, but I do prefer his films that take place in LA for the most part though.
@jayfournier@ALL_CAPS Pulp Fiction
Kill Bills
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Jackie Brown
Reservoir Dogs
Inglorious Basterds
Hateful Eight
Django Unchained
Death Proof
@jayfournier@Jason_Faber Agreed, Prague's one of my favorite cities. Certainly walkable, and everything was reasonably priced 15yrs ago. But might "feel" similar to Berlin and Munich (another fave), where Barcelona would add a different vibe to the other destinations already on the list maybe.
We deride FB nowadays, but you have to be amazed when you post in a community group about an injured hawk that hit your window, and have a falconer show up within 2hrs to volunteer to help you out on a long weekend Saturday!
It was like falconer inception... the falconer who saw my post couldn't help today, but they called falconer Jason, who then called falconer Lisa who could help.
