@HawkguyMatt No way you hate him as much as Husker fans. Guy fired a perennial 9 win coach so he could hire... Mike Riley. Doesn't even touch on how many things he meddled with, including S&C, JUCO recruiting, and assistant hires.
@LaneWatcher99@RHULEROFNEB I like Rhule but I get that sentiment. Some coaches I’ve never liked and for no good reason. Hope both teams meet in another orange bowl someday like in 96.
@Sean_Callahan@Abby_Barmore@HuskerOnline I’m thinking the Huskers will miss Ceyair Wright this year. Where does he rank among Husker corners this decade? Ahead of CTB, T Hill or Newsom?
@ScottDochterman@wilnerhotline 2001 Miami was the greatest collection of talent imo but not the greatest team. They rarely played to their potential and nearly lost a couple. They didn’t get to play a great Nebraska game in the rose bowl either sadly.
95 Nebraska was the most dominant. Maybe best overall team
There are 8 Blue Bloods in College Football: Alabama, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas & USC
If you are talking bloodlines, then the dominance necessary to become a Blue Blood must span not just legendary coaches or current day dynasties but generations.
Take a look through the ranks and see which team is closest to royalty and who still needs decades of winning programs to even enter the realm of the Blue Bloods discussion.
A team's Blue Blood Score is comprised of a mix of Regular Season Achievements (Wins, Weeks Ranked, Weeks Ranked #1, Conference Titles, Bowl Wins, Major Bowl Wins & National Titles), Post Season Awards (Consensus & Unanimous All-Americans, Heisman Winners & Runner Ups) and Professional Achievements (CFB Hall of Famers, NFL Draft Picks & 1st Round Picks)
