NC State was trying to run the clock out, could've just gone down for a safety, but CJ Bailey fumbles in the end zone and Vandy recovers for the win.
That is one of the most insane endings you will ever see
I see they want to demolish the old Scouts Canada HQ building for more condos…
That property quietly has in place a Totem Pole carved in 1960 by Chief Mungo Martin, of the Kwakiutl Tribe and his grandson Henry Hunt.
Ottawa’s totem pole has been weathering away at its post for nearly 70 years. Most of the carving was done in Victoria, B.C.
The pole was gifted to Ottawa from the British Columbia Scouts, and cost approximately $8,000 in 1960 to carve and paint from a BC cedar tree.
The towering totem consists of 6 main figures; a Raven, a Man, a Grizzly Bear, a Cannibal Woman, a Killer Whale, and a Beaver. These were all clan crests of the tribes that Chief Martin was closely related, and placed on the Ottawa totem.
I’m unsure of what plans they have for this Ottawa landmark.
Perhaps the media will cover this story further if not scouring grocery stores.

"Expos management asked me if I would give French lessons to the players when we were on the road and it was fun.
I used to teach it phonetically because you didn’t have time to do it too extensive grammatically.
A lot of the Latin players like Dennis Martinez and others really enjoyed it … they were regulars.
We used to have about a one-hour course per city we were visiting.
They would lease a suite or a ball room or something like that and supply me with a blackboard … stuff like that. We used to get seven or eight guys who would show up on a fairly regular basis."
Jacques Doucet.
ONLY person to broadcast a Major League Baseball team over its entire history!!!!!!! Jacques Doucet coined, popularized or invented an entire glossary of baseball terms that didn’t quite translate to French in a way that made any sense.
The “chandelle,” or candle, which is the word he used to describe a popup, “Flèche,” or arrow, which meant a line drive.
“Frappé en lieu sûr,” which means, “hit in a safe place” and was the term used to describe a base hit.
There is no real word for “knuckle” in French.
It’s called a finger joint, and “finger joint ball” doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, Doucet coined the term “balle papillon” or “butterfly ball”
HERO!!!!

This, from the majestic @whippletom, is wonderful
Tom bought half a tonne of totally random Amazon returns for £200
His entire clan, his mum and dad and his neighbours spent what sounds like a glorious day rooting through it
‘My dad is quieter. He inspects the ground with the precision of a wading bird seeking tasty morsels in the mudflats. He has a cellar to stock’
There is joy in every sentence. I can’t recommend it enough
