You can't have a positive life, with a negative mind!

@AnorexiaMyths Have has this experience many a time. Although its a hard job for consultants there's no reason to have this attitude towards any patient... the problem is where you find another doctor as it isn't as easy to just get someone else... private costs, the system, etc.
Someones just made my day! Bumped into #Nathanralph Can't believe it. Went for a regular coffee out and this happens out the blue! Such a lovely guy and amazing to talk to.
Thank you for the lovely chat Nathan! Up the Shrimpers! @SUFCRootsHall@CJPhillips1982
@jamesldowns Not disagreeing with you or anything but I guess a counter argument or point is what if the patient doesn't want to get better and doesn't want treatment... some treatment can be so forceful and from my experience does not listen to the individual and reluctant for fut treatment
@Chescamarina That's a hard one. I have done the same sort of list before but more goal setting based on things I want to be different. Maybe could do a separate goal for each other that is step by step and see if that helps prioritise which one first? Just a thought. Stay strong x
Many a time the healthy Chris has been desperately screaming for help on the inside. For someone with an ED, it is so hard to verbalise how much they want help, as the strength of the ED can prevent them from communicating this desperate shout for support

@HesterCareless@AnorexiaMyths Thank you Hester. The more these things and views are shared hopefully the more likely things can change. I hope full recovery can be the aim for everyone in the future as anything short of that is a real shame for all involved.
I have heard many times from professionals that the aim is just to get to a point where you can sustain yourself on the outside, not fully weight restore and just get to a point that is ‘safe enough.’
@Christophski96 on why we need to aim higher.

I will be posting a thoughtful response to this from a lived experience perspective by the wonderful @Christophski96 later. Keep your eyes peeled!

@AnorexiaMyths@AgnesAyton Links to your article... professionals seem to be becoming more complacent with a good enough recovery for discharge... dangerous ethos! I get there is pressure for beds etc and therefore pressure for quick turnover but that shouldn't overrule proper restoration.
