This #BlackHistoryMonth we'd like to highlight a remarkable figure in Parliament's history, and share a new addition to our Art Collection: a bronze bust of Olaudah Equiano, one of the most prominent black voices in the British abolitionist movement.

The gold leaf veins map the tiger corridors of land between reserves and tiger countries. The bleed through of ink on the semi-permeable membrane creates a camouflage effect.

6 of 9 subspecies of tiger are now extinct - Caspian, Balinesr and Javan. The tiger tail on yellow is of the Caspian tiger which existed in Ukraine in medieval times, subjected to hunting and isolation, it could not survive. There are 8 strips, 8 auspicious.
