Although she has legal status in the U.S, she was recently stopped and asked for 'proof.' She does well in school while working part time at McDonalds. But she can't afford things that aren't considered a necessity. She would like to get a fanny pack style bag to keep copies of her documentation, emergency contact info and school ID in the event she is taken in one of the many raids happening in DC."

COVID does not give you life-long immunity. If you get COVID today, you can still catch COVID again next month.

It takes a lot of privilege to “not be political.” Just focusing on your work without worrying about what’s going on in the world is a luxury that many don’t have.

Even calling systemic and societal injustices “political” is a tool to minimize some of our biggest problems.
