Ismail Sahabi, a man who was kidnapped along the Kaduna–Abuja Expressway and reportedly paid over ₦100 million in ransom, has joined the ADC in Zaria.

He arrived at the event with over 20 newspapers as evidence. In his speech, he stated that more than 600,000 people are killed in Nigeria in a year, with 85% of the victims from the North. He also claimed that over ₦2 trillion has been paid in ransom, including the ₦100 million he personally paid. He concluded that supporting President Bola Tinubu and the APC would be a grave mistake and urged Nigerians to vote them out.

What I witnessed during my trip to Nigeria was heartbreaking.

I met a woman who witnessed all five of her children murdered in front of her.

Another woman lost her husband and two daughters and had her unborn child killed.

We did have positive conversations with the Nigerian government, and I believe we are close to a a strategic security framework to address both the ISIS and Boko Haram threat in the Northeast, as well as the genocide against Christians by the radical Fulani Muslims in the Middle Belt.

The report that I will present @POTUS with outlines paths to work with the Nigerian government to end the slaughter of our brothers and sisters in Christ.
