@AlexaDelbosc I’m guessing that the footpath on the other side of the bollards is technically too steep for DDA compliance, so they have put a physical stop in the way. Pretty stupid as if someone was in a mobility device, they would decide if it worked for them or not.

@AlexaDelbosc That’s a poor design, when the timber boards get wet, it would be like riding on ice…. I’ve seen some councils attach wire mesh to the boards to provide some grip.

@AlexaDelbosc I’d suggest you go and test ride a few bikes to determine which you feel most comfortable riding. There are pros and cons of all bikes. I’d also suggest trying a 2 wheel cargo bike, as they are more stable than you might think, especially electric assist.
