As I reported back in June, the 1895 Cup Final will not be played at Wembley and instead will be played at a neutral venue now believed to be Belle Vue the home of Super League side Wakefield Trinity.
A number of Super League venues were considered with Headingley, Odsal Stadium and the LNER Stadium also looked at as a replacement for Wembley.
The 1895 Cup will still take place alongside the Challenge Cup as it did this season with a preliminary round being used due to the odd number of teams.
