What with Covid than my own health issues I have been kept away from the BTCC but rest assured I have been watching Jakes progress and it's clear he's faster than you ever were! And you were particularly fast on the M1 south in a Peugeot! Knockhill will be worth the trip. Woody
@krcircuit@BTCC Might pop in….it’s not far from my house in Kent and someone I know is racing….plus the scenery is awesome, the locals are friendly and the track’s pretty cool too 🏴🏴✈️🏁🏆🍾
@AllanHarryman I used to love these rallies. The 1989 RAC was the last one on maps, bar the spectator stages. A massive box of maps behind the driver's seat! A big challenge.
Just received the sad news from my dad that Hannu Mikkola had died. I 1st met him when I was 6 years old. He and dad were off to Greece to compete in the 1969 Acropolis Rally. Every time I met him after that he always remembered me! A lovely man.
@paddocknews Okay it was short but it looked to me the equal of many modern day Monte Carlo rally's. My father wouldn't agree of course because in his day it started in Edinburgh!
Day 3 finished, just about!! 🇲🇨 Another complete mix of ice and snow this morning after a storm in the night ⛈ unfortunately getting a double puncture in SS10 but we pushed on the rest of the day and now starting to find good confidence in these conditions!! 😄😄
@TomWilliamsGB@OfficialWRC Fantastic news @TomWilliamsGB I remember the 1st, and only it turned out, time I did the Monte Carlo Rally. Getting on the plane to Nice with Martin Rowe brought excited anticipation. I hope you feel the same. Enjoy every moment of it!
@neilrogersuk@rich_energy Nope, I bought a pack of 3 cans off Amazon In the summer of 2019. Drank one, and kept two for investment😉. After missing out on the E-type Jaguar price boom I didn't want to miss this opportunity!🤣
@GrandPrixDiary Of course it does! And the fact that he claims he threw it away in 2013, When it was worth a paltry £4.3 million, makes it even more so…
