جشن مهرگان، جشن مهر و روشنایی و یادگار کهن نیاکان ما، با پیروزی فریدون بر ضحاک و چیرگی نیکی بر بدی پیوند خورده است.

در روزگار ضحاک، خِرَد و هنر خوار می‌شود و جادو و نیرنگ ارج می‌یابد، دست دیوان به بدی دراز می‌شود و مغز جوانان، خوراک ماران ضحاک می‌گردد. تصویری از تار��کی و بیدادی که امروز در سیمای پلید جمهوری اسلامی نیز نمایان است.

در شاهنامه، ضحاک کشته نمی‌شود، بلکه در دماوندکوه به بند کشیده می‌شود. اما در روزگار ما، ضحاک زمانه، علی خامنه‌ای، سرانجام به زیر خاک کشیده شد.

این نخستین جشن مهرگان پس از هلاکت اوست که در دی‌ماه، ده‌ها هزار فرزند دلیر ایران را از ما گرفت. امسال، مهرگان را به یاد جاویدنامانی گرامی می‌داریم که در نبرد با ضحاک، جان خود را فدای ایران کردند، و در پاسداشت فرهنگ و هویت ملی ما که در سخت‌ترین روزهای تاریخ ایران، چراغ امید را روشن نگه داشته و نویدبخش پیروزی نور بر تاریکی بوده است.

از همه هم‌میهنان می‌خواهم در این آیین ملی، به دیدار خانواده‌های جاویدنامان میهن بروند و مهر، همدلی و قدردانی ملت را به آنان نشان دهند، خانواده‌هایی که عزیزترین‌های خود را در راه آزادی ایران از دست داده‌اند و یاد فرزندان‌شان، مشعل درخشان فردای ایران است.

جمهوری اسلامی تلاش کرد با قطع اینترنت، کشتار را از چشم جهان پنهان کند، پاسخ ایرانیان، ثبت حقیقت با دوربینهای خودشان بود.

الکس وینستون در گزارشی جامع برای «اورشلیم پست»، مستند چهارقسمتی «این روایت ماست» ساخته شبکه من‌وتو را بررسی کرده است، مستندی هفت‌ساعته که بر پایه بیش از ۱۰ هزار تصویر ثبت‌شده به دست شهر��ندان عادی، روایت انقلاب ملی شیر و خورشید و کشتار دی ماه را هم‌زمان با وقوع آن به تصویر می‌کشد.

این تصاویر، شهادت شهروندان، روزنامه‌نگاری، حافظه تاریخی و اسناد جنایت علیه بشریت‌اند، روایت ملتی که در همان لحظاتی که رژیم می‌کوشید جنایت‌هایش را پنهان کند، انقلاب خود را مستند کرد.
آن‌ها آنجا بودند. حقیقت را ثبت کردند. اکنون جهان باید آن حقیقت را ببیند.

At the Concordia Annual Summit, Prince Reza Pahlavi asked the question missing from decades of international policy: Why are the Iranian people not at the centre of the conversation?

The Islamic Republic will not change through endless negotiations or appeasement. Iranians massacred by the regime were demanding freedom, not a nuclear deal or control of the Strait of Hormuz.

با آغاز حمله صدام حسین به ایران در سال ۱۹۸۰، او که به‌تازگی دوره آموزش خلبانی نیروی هوایی آمریکا را به پایان رسانده بود، برای بازگشت به میهن و جنگیدن با دشمن متجاوز اعلام آمادگی کرد، با وجود آن‌که می‌دانست بازگشت به ایرانِ تحت حاکمیت رژیم انقلابی می‌تواند جانش را به خطر بیندازد.

شاهزاده رضا پهلوی تأکید کرد که ۴۶ سال است تنها مأموریت زندگی‌اش خدمت به ایران و ایرانیان بوده و خانواده‌اش نیز در تمام این مسیر در کنار او ایستاده‌اند، نه به دلیل تعلق به خانواده‌ای سلطنتی، بلکه به حکم وظیفه‌ای میهنی.

او تاکید می‌کند زندگی آنان به سرنوشت ایران گره خورده است و این مبارزه تا آزادی نهایی ایران ادامه خواهد یافت.

شاهزاده رضا پهلوی در نشست کنکوردیا در نیویورک، در گفت��وگو با متیو سوئیفت، ‌هم‌بنیان‌گذار و مدیرعامل سازمان بین‌المللی کنکوردیا، نام علی زارعی را در برابر مخاطبان بین‌المللی مطرح کرد؛ جوان ۲۷ ساله‌ای که در خیزش «زن، زندگی، آزادی» از ناحیه چشم هدف گلوله قرار گرفت، اما برای ادامه مبارزه به ایران بازگشت و اکنون در سلول انفرادی با خطر اعدام روبه‌روست.

شاهزاده رضا پهلوی تأکید کرد که دموکراسی‌های غربی وظیفه‌ای اخلاقی دارند در کنار مردم ایران بایستند و فریب مذاکراتی را نخورند که جمهوری اسلامی تنها برای خریدن زمان دنبال می‌کند.

پیام روشن بود: دیگر بس است. علی زارعی امروز از جهان می‌پرسد: «آیا در کنار من می‌ایستید، یا یک بار دیگر مرا قر��انی خواهید کرد؟»
