BREAKING: Trump stuns the Japanese Prime Minister by blurting out an INSANELY OFFENSIVE Pearl Harbor comment TO HER FACE during tense White House press conference.

During a jaw-dropping press conference with Japan’s prime minister, a Japanese reporter asked a simple, reasonable question: "Why weren’t key U.S. allies warned before the strike on Iran?"

Trump’s response? Stunningly inappropriate. Reporters audibly gasped and Prime Minister Takaichi's eyes widened in disbelief as Trump turned to Takaichi and snapped back with: "We wanted [the Iran war] to be a surprise. Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Why didn't you tell ME about Pearl Harbor?"

Let that sink in.

A sitting U.S. president, standing next to Japan’s leader, casually referencing one of the deadliest attacks in American history — not as a solemn reminder, but as a punchline to justify keeping allies in the dark about Iran.

It was shocking. And it was DEEPLY inappropriate.

Rather than reassuring offend and allies or acknowledging their concerns, Trump doubled down on secrecy, all while insulting one of America's closest allies. Missing entirely was any sense of diplomacy, respect, or awareness of the historical weight behind his words.

This is what global leadership looks like under Trump: offend and alienate allies, shrug off accountability, and invoke historic tragedy like it’s a mere talking point to "win" an argument with a reporter.

Every American must question Dementia Don's increasingly unhinged mental state. Because when you’re invoking Pearl Harbor to win an argument in front of the Japanese Prime Minister, something has gone very, very wrong.

Things got ugly in the White House briefing room today — and the reason says everything about this administration’s priorities.

During the first press briefing since the United States and Israel launched military strikes against Iran, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt lashed out at CNN’s Kaitlan Collins after Collins dared to ask a simple, devastating question: Should the press prominently cover the deaths of six American service members killed in the escalating conflict?

Instead of offering clarity or compassion, Leavitt went on the attack.

Collins pressed the administration about mixed messages surrounding the military operation — dubbed “Operation Epic Fury” — and whether officials were upset that the media focused on the troops who died. The question came after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had complained earlier that coverage of the deaths had become front-page news.

That’s when Leavitt erupted.

“No… the press should report on the success of Operation Epic Fury,” she snapped, pivoting away from the fallen troops and toward praise of the operation. She then accused the media of trying to make Donald Trump look bad — singling out Collins directly.

“Especially you… especially CNN,” Leavitt fumed.

But Collins didn’t back down. When Leavitt claimed Hegseth hadn’t criticized coverage of the fallen soldiers, Collins calmly read his own words back to her — exposing the contradiction in real time. The exchange quickly turned tense as Leavitt accused Collins of being “disingenuous” and insisted the press was unfairly targeting Trump.

Collins delivered the reality check the room needed. “I don’t think covering troop deaths is trying to make the president look bad,” she said plainly.

Exactly.

Honoring the sacrifice of American service members isn’t partisan. Reporting the truth isn’t an attack. And asking tough questions — especially when American lives are lost — is literally the job of a free press.

But in Trump’s White House, accountability is treated like betrayal. And when reporters refuse to play along with the spin, the response isn’t answers — it’s anger.

BREAKING: Trump officials caught at secret summit with election deniers plotting to STEAL the midterms in a ‘national emergency’ power grab!

ProPublica just dropped a huge bombshell: High-ranking Trump administration officials – including a White House lawyer tasked with ”reinvestigating” 2020 and the DHS official in charge of “election integrity” – attended a shady summit last week where 2020 election deniers begged Donald Trump to declare a national emergency and TAKE OVER the 2026 midterms.

Yes, the same Michael Flynn – the disgraced former national security adviser and certified coup enthusiast – convened the whole thing.

Attendees included Kurt Olsen, the White House lawyer spending our tax dollars digging for 2020 dirt, and Heather Honey, DHS’s election ratfu**er. Cleta Mitchell was there too, the same one pushing baseless fraud claims through her Election Integrity Network.

These MAGA insiders and outside agitators are pushing Trump to go full authoritarian: declare an emergency, ban mail-in ballots, ditch voting machines, and hand federal control over state elections.

A draft executive order is already reportedly circulating among these circles. Courts have blocked similar schemes before, Congress won't pass their voter suppression wishlist, so now they're trying the nuclear option – emergency powers to rig the vote in November.

Election experts are sounding the alarm loud: This is the same crew that tried to overturn 2020, now embedded INSIDE the government, better organized, and breaking every guardrail.
As Brendan Fischer from the Campaign Legal Center put it: “The same people who tried to overturn the 2020 election have only grown better organized and are now embedded in the machinery of government.”

Let’s call this what it is: a deliberate plan to reshape elections ahead of the midterms or ignore the voters entirely if things don't go Trump's way.

This is what MAGA “election integrity” really looks like. Subverting votes, not securing them. While Trump slurs through wars abroad, his team is scheming to sabotage democracy at home. The U.S. isn't a democracy under this crew, it's a regime teetering on the edge of authoritarian takeover.

Let me say this as clearly as possible, because people keep getting it wrong.

Republican lawmakers didn’t stick with Trump because they were hypnotized...terrified...or somehow helpless.

They stuck with him because he’s one of them.

Trump didn’t corrupt a moral party. He exposed a corrupt one.

If Trump were merely embarrassing...reckless...or rude... they would have dumped him years ago. Politicians abandon liabilities fast. What they don’t abandon...are mutual liabilities.

Trump normalized behavior that many of them were already guilty of: ethical shortcuts...financial murkiness... abuse of power...contempt for oversight... lying as policy.

He didn’t invent the rot...he gave it cover.

And here’s the part people don’t like to hear:

For a lot of Republicans in Congress, Trump isn’t the risk.

Accountability is.

Trump absorbs attention like a sponge. While everyone is watching his circus...others operate quietly in the shadows. He’s not a distraction...he’s a shield. A very useful one.

Once they crossed certain lines together...election lies, January 6th...obstruction...weaponization of government ...there was no clean exit.

Loyalty became self-preservation. Defection meant subpoenas...investigations...and career death.

That’s why the so-called “good Republicans” vanished.

They weren’t persuaded. They were purged. Retired. Primaried. Marginalized. What you’re seeing now isn’t universal agreement...it’s selection pressure.

Only those comfortable with ethical decay remain.

This is how systems rot. Not with villains twirling mustaches...but with people who decide, one compromise at a time, that survival matters more than principle.

Trump didn’t take over the GOP.
The GOP recognized itself in Trump.

And that’s why expecting them to “come to their senses” is a fantasy.

You can’t ask people to enforce standards that would incriminate them.

The alliance holds...because it has to.

That’s not psychology.
That’s incentive structure.

And until people stop confusing fear...with complicity... they’ll keep being shocked by behavior that was always predictable.

"We are heartbroken but also very angry. Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital," the family said in a statement provided to CNN.

"Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the hero term lightly. However his last thought and act was to protect a woman."

It is our responsibility as Americans to get the truth out there. Petti was not attempting to harm anyone. He was swarmed, beaten, and disarmed by vicious federal agents who were looking for someone to hurt. Once they had removed his gun — which he had a legal permit to carry — they executed him in cold blood by firing numerous bullets into him. Then, the Trump administration proceeded to immediately falsely smear him as a "terrorist" who wanted to carry out a mass shooting against law enforcement. They're utterly shameless.

“He cared about people deeply and he was very upset with what was happening in Minneapolis and throughout the United States with ICE, as millions of other people are upset,” said Pretti's father Alex. “He thought it was terrible, you know, kidnapping children, just grabbing people off the street. He cared about those people, and he knew it was wrong, so he did participate in protests.”

Rest in power Alex. The rest of us will carry on the fight.
