Tottori Prefecture confirmed a ransomware attack affecting a system used to collect and monitor radiation and weather data near the Shimane Nuclear Power Station and nuclear facilities in Ningyo-toge. Files were encrypted and a ransom note was discovered. According to the prefecture, the affected system did not store confidential or personal information, and no data leakage has been reported.
