@jc50000000 The difference, in my mind is an explicit license to repost permanently, not just syndicate. If users did that at scale it could break down some of the walls around these gardens
An idea I've been stewing on a while: if users consent w/ their own content, what's stopping federated Twitter alternatives from cloning their feeds?
Taking it a step further, what if there was a huge list of accounts providing such consent? You could clone almost everything.
