@TheKanehB I was just talking about this the other day. I have the most recent phone, top tier service, and dead zones literally everywhere. We were in the next town over, a major tourist destination, and couldn’t even open the weather app. And yes, I’d love to have Nextel back!
@Defunct_Warrior@JamesOKeefeIII As retired LEO, this is 100% correct. I never liked “red flag” laws when we first started dealing with them. It’s way too easy to get them taken away but can be difficult to get them returned.
@LueElizondo I’ve been there. Two years ago, while riding out in the country, a deer tried to jump across my path and hit me on my left shoulder, knocking me down to my right side. I ended up with 15 broken bones, a punctured lung and a brain bleed. Regrettably I have not ridden since.
@encrypted_past@WhiteHouse Nice find. I’m very familiar with the show Jericho, and always thought of it as “future-documentary” in a way. The way they handled the segmentation of areas, the delivery of news, bartering for goods, all seemed very well done to me.
@ofcrdeonjoseph As a Retired LEO, I stand with you. There are very few of us who actually understand what happens on the street. And what happens after.
@GovernorVA It’s a shame you are trying to disarm your citizens when they seem to need defense the most. Have you considered what the outcome would have been in the synagogue attack if they didn’t have people armed in the building? The killing would have gone on until police arrived
