Wheelchairs are not luggage. They're an extension of the users body, just the same as a prosthetic limb.
Blatant #ableism, yet somehow it's perfectly legal.
As an aside, if Usain Bolt was treated like that, there would be a media frenzy.

I am limited not by the wheelchair, but by others' false perceptions & unwillingness to be #accessible.

Petty detail but circumstances of Esther McVey’s resignation are galling. She got to resign as if a principled stateswoman - when she should have been kicked out on her arse as a liar inflicting misery on the poorest and disabled.
