I had such a positive experience at the ER.. until they switched to the day shift. I’m literally just watching on my lab results, a specialist recommendation, and discharge papers. Yet my nurse and doctor are no where to be found and ignoring the pages from the techs???

@freganmitts I got a super comfy futon couch from Walmart recently for like $300-350! It’s blue velvet and comfortable enough that I’ve had a friend sleeping on it for a month!

I’m honestly surprised that in the five years living alone, this is my first ER trip.

It finally happened. After two weeks of symptoms that kept getting worse, they got so bad this evening that the Telehealth doctor I spoke to said I need to go to the ER. Nearly six hours later and I’m still here, but at least I’m in a bed with meds.

Today I had to submit a request for a medical leave of absence after taking my third sick day in a row. Now I get to sit here anxiously waiting to see if it gets approved so I don’t waste my whole years PTO on the first two weeks.

It’s my third day back to school after summer vacation, and my second sick day of the year already. I’m feeling so discouraged and unsure of what to do if this continues.

Every year, I get so emotional when people buy things off of my classroom wishlist. This year, a former parent (I had her twins last year) just bought a few boxes of snacks. Instant tears! She’s the sweetest and I’m so happy she’s still supporting me!!
