@AmiEverAfter I'm sorry to hear. Yeah that motto sticks harder the older you get. You do learn to deal with it better. I think it's surgery fatigue and ADHD together. And maybe you might be thinking about something else too hard. You're not alone
Self-Soothing Statements When You're in Crisis
• I am safe.
• This feeling is temporary.
• I am stronger than this moment feels.
• This is hard. I can do hard things.
• I've been thru tough times.

Yes, that little dwarf can be quite persistent at times. I'm recovering from his activities last week. Things are a little better but I think he's sneaking some swings.
Perhaps the cutest thing I've ever seen in Western North Carolina...
A little baby bear running across the street to her momma gets the SWEETEST hug.
Absolutely heart melting stuff!!! ❤️
@ThePOTSPostman As someone with a chronic illness, I immediately understood what you were saying. I grieved my old life for a long time after I was diagnosed. Today there are still parts that are still grieved. I understand what you mean.
“When the #pain is too much to be distracted from, life becomes overwhelming, or #chronicpain gets in the way of living life… It is so incredibly exhausting to feel pain every moment of every day.” Relatable Tweet Nails What Chronic Pain Is Really Like https://t.co/jYKsYKNfx4
@ThePOTSPostman When I get there, I am no longer to fight or push through it. I "hole up" in my bed with as many supplies as I can gather before I am totally flattened. Sometimes it's just a bottle of water. Rough. Glad it is not every day.
@OneNerdyOpinion You have 2 great nurses there with you. Wishing you many get well quick wishes. It is a Man Cold. All sympathies need to be given for quick recovery!
@ThePOTSPostman The line that we cross that goes into the too much territory is very fine. Often I cross it and then it's too late. I want to finish as much as I can and think I know when to stop. Just wish there was a blinking red light that said "stop", danger of overload. I would stop.
Something people don’t understand about chronic illness:
Symptoms rarely show up one at a time.
It’s fatigue
plus dizziness
plus brain fog
plus pain
plus a dozen other things.
Individually you might manage them.
Together they can take you down.
