@misskatesharma Middle school was great for that tbh like I vividly remember binging face in the milk carton over the course of a few periods and getting the next book at lunch… the best time for a voracious reader (who is going to have kinda warped ideas of romance in the future)
@misskatesharma I thought I had read it but the plot I remembered was like a lightning strike stops time and there’s like a certain number of people who can still move but that’s def a different series and I have no idea who wrote it bc I was so sure it was her
@misskatesharma We didn’t have it in my middle school library so no…but maybe I will remedy that oversight…we had some princess diaries/Avalon high/ready or not/all of airhead/how to be popular which I read approximately 60 times (plus I read ransom my heart at the town lib and heather wells)
@chaipters@aglassofmalk@sapphicophelia Cannot make an informed suggestion bc only read lord of scoundrels but I do like it and other Loretta chase books so
@orphansirius@chaipters Like if chocked was a plausible spelling of choked why am I not seeing strocked for stroked or brocken for broken… 😞 why does this happen so often who is perpetuating this atrocity
@chaipters Yuck to all of these honestly (tho I do often get called out for firstname lastnaming ppl when telling stories irl unfortunately however I cannot stop). In the same vein as nngh…excessively phonetically spelled out accents or baby voices
Halloweekend uber driver told me it’s okay if I never find love or get married because some people aren’t meant to…. certainly spooky I must hand it to her
