Hi, it's Darshita. I am a designer.

And I'm pitching myself in public 'cause I'm done with a year full of anxiety.

Everyone says design is dead and AI killed it. But the real parasite was hiding in plain sight.

So here's my film, DESIGN IS DEAD. She's bold, fearless and very PINK 💖

Lagos Life launched on October 1st. Just 9 days later, over 4.7 million people have played the game.

Today, I’m excited to announce that Vatar, the parent company behind Lagos Life, has closed a $500K angel round led by AB Hassan (@ijbguy), Nathan Nwachuku (@_KingNath), and GB Agboola (@TechProd_Arch).

Lagos is just the beginning. We’re building entire worlds, and there’s so much more to come. 🌍

Swedish tech companies are remote-friendly, pay top tier rates, and operate almost entirely in English.

You do not need to speak Swedish or live in Europe to get hired.

If money wasn’t a problem, I’d probably spend my whole life studying.

A master’s in philosophy, then astrophysics, physics, ancient history, psychology… Whatever makes me understand this weird existence a little better.

Not for a career, not for a degree.

Just because there’s so much to know and one lifetime already feels too short.

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Myles Lewis-Skelly reveals he uses BUDDHISM and breathing techniques to deal with pressure and nerves before matches.

🗣️ “There’s a Buddhist concept called the ‘monkey mind’, which is about the restless mind jumping from concern to concern.”

“When I feel pressure, I try to calm my nervous system and bring stillness back to my mind through breathing techniques, music or talking to people.”

“The mind is a muscle, so you have to TRAIN it.”

Because wealth accumulation requires a certain level of cruelty. And most smart people are not cruel. For example, let's say I run a business, and I know that in order for it to make me a millionaire, I need to pay my workers 3k p/m. As a smart person, I know that 3k p/m is nowhere near enough for someone to live comfortably on. The only question that remains is whether I care or not.
