@STGshmups I appreciate the information! It makes sense that changing perspective from "Avoiding bullets" to "finding blanks" would make a huge difference. I'll keep that information in mind the next time I'm playing!

@STGshmups That being said I wouldn’t say I’m terrible at them, I just end up focusing more on my ship than I do enemies. Scoring comes secondary to attempts at survival.
Of course when extends are score-based that has its own setbacks. But I refuse to give up so that’s what counts!

@STGshmups I just wish I could figure out a strategy to play shmups that worked with my limited vision. It’s extremely difficult for me to have full-screen awareness. But I guess then it really just comes down to memorizing where I need to be on the screen at any given time.
