The AI wave everyone's chasing?
It already passed.

Wave 1 was Algorithmic. Rules-based. If X, then Y.
Powerful. Brittle.

Wave 2 is Generative. Copilots. Assistants.
This is where most companies are today—bolting AI onto existing workflows.

Wave 3 is Agentic.
Systems that don't just assist—they reason, plan, and execute.
AI that doesn't wait for instructions. It acts.

The companies that win next won't use AI as a tool. They'll deploy AI as a teammate.

But here's what I keep seeing:
- Beautiful strategy decks.
- Elegant transformation frameworks.
- Months of workshops.

Then the consultants leave. And nothing ships.

Strategy that doesn't reach production isn't strategy.
It's theater.

The firms that define this era are the ones where thinking and building happen in the same room. Where the people who design the solution are the same ones who ship it.

"Vibe-coding" is when you build software by simply describing what you want, and an AI generates the code for you. No frameworks, no boilerplate, no syntax mastery. Just your intent + AI.
It’s raw. It’s fast. It’s often messy. But it’s real, and it works — especially for:

- ✅ Experiments
- ✅ One-off tools
- ✅ Concept validation

📈 The upside?
- It lowers the barrier to programming.
- It empowers more people to build.

That’s the idea behind MCP Sampling — a powerful pattern in how AI applications interact with tools and data more intelligently and efficiently.

Let me break it down with an analogy:
🎯 Imagine planning a trip.
You don’t just ask Google Maps for directions and go. First, it asks:
- What’s your starting point?
- Do you want the fastest route?
- Avoid tolls? Scenic drive?
Only then does it give you the best route.

💡 That’s what Model Context Protocol (MCP) does for AI prompts.
Before a model responds, the server “samples” relevant context, like:
- ✅ Current system status
- ✅ Available tools
- ✅ Task-specific preferences
- ✅ User intent

Then the client constructs a smarter prompt, informed by this context, and the model responds more accurately and efficiently.

⚙️ Why is this more optimal?
- 🔁 Reduces prompt retries – Better context = better answers the first time
- 🧩 Decouples logic from the model – The prompt-building process adapts without retraining the model
- 🌐 Improves tool selection – The server knows what's available and relevant right now
- 🚀 Speeds up integration – You don’t need N custom prompts for M tools. Just plug into the MCP interface.

In short: Less guesswork, better prompts, faster results.

This capability allows server developers to add intelligence to their servers without the complexities of direct LLM management. It can facilitate features like asking clarifying questions or generating summaries, ultimately enhancing the value and sophistication of MCP server functionalities. I saw what the Manus, the general AI agent, can do. It emphasis the following:
1. Models are commiditized: The LLM makers may not have a MOAT anymore as Open Source models are converging with Closed Source.
2. Agents are the new softwares: Agents will be the new software layer that abstracts units of works and anutomates its execution.
3. Agentizing of processes is inevitable: Any form of business or knowledge process that involves software application has the potential to be agentized.

I just witnessed the incredible capabilities of Manus, the general AI agent, and it's clear that we're on the brink of a major shift:
1. 📉 Models are becoming commodities: With open-source models catching up to closed-source ones, the traditional MOAT for LLM makers might be disappearing.
2. 🤖 Agents are the new software: These powerful agents are set to become the new software layer, simplifying tasks and automating execution like never before.
