Today marks the beginning of Pride Month 🏳️🌈
Emily Damari (@EmilyDamari1) talks about her time as a hostage in Gaza. While there, Emily asked her Hamas captor what he would do if gay people came to Gaza. His answer was he would kill them.
And yet “Queers for Palestine” continue to protest in support of Hamas, the very people who want to murder them. It doesn’t matter if they’re from Columbia University or family members from Gaza, Hamas would kill them all the same.
LGBTQ+ people are in danger throughout the Middle East. Sharia law criminalizes their very existence. Under Hamas, being gay is a death sentence.
It’s time for people in the West to wake up to this fact. If you support LGBTQ+ people, you cannot support Hamas.
Khameini was a war criminal.
He was the biggest financier of terrorism worldwide.
He was responsible for murdering his own citizens, for beating young women, for imposing homophobic and misogynist laws, and for oppressing 90 million Iranians.
He was also responsible for the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
If you’re unsure about whether or not his death is a good thing, you are not a humanitarian.
John Lithgow says J.K. Rowling's anti-trans views are "inexplicable" and "people insisted I walk away" from playing Dumbledore in HBO's #HarryPotter but "I chose not to do that."
“I take the subject extremely seriously. She has created this amazing canon for young people and it has jumped into the consciousness of the society. It’s about good versus evil, kindness versus cruelty. I find her views ironic and inexplicable. I’ve never met her, she’s not really involved in this production at all. But the people who are, are remarkable. It upsets me when people are opposed to me having anything to do with this. But in ‘Potter’ canon you see no trace of transphobic sensitivity. She’s written this mediation of kindess and acceptance. And Dumbledore is a beautiful role. It was a hard decision. It made me uncomfortable and unhappy that people insisted I walk away from the job. I chose not to do that.”

BREAKING: The regime in Iran has announced that it will execute 26-year-old Erfan Soltani in less than 24 hours in order to send a message to the protestors.
Soltani was snatched from his home after being identified at a protest in the Ferdis District of Kerch. He is scheduled to be publicly hanged, sending the message that this is the price you will pay if you fight for democracy. It is the absolute worst, most evil, inhuman scare tactic imaginable.
Time is running out for Erfan.
Time is running out for Iran.
The people need our voices while theirs continue to be in grave danger.
I was wrong.
I made a mistake in my analysis of the ICE killing of Renee Good.
I rushed to conclusions.
I let my bias get the best of me.
And I’m sorry.
I have been helping families in Venezuela for 10 years and anyone who hasn’t been there or in close contact with people there have no clue. People are just addicted to being mad. Well while ur mad, Venezuela is happy for the first time in 25 years.
Venezuelan journalist Germania Rodriguez Poleo's message to those who are mad that President Trump captured dictator Nicolas Maduro:
"Do not for a moment let your hatred and disdain for Donald Trump have you defending the dictator of my country, which was destroyed by [Maduro] and [Hugo] Chavez and their system 20 years ago. We Venezuelans are very, VERY happy that our dictator has been arrested, removed, and will be put through a trial. It's the first time we're seeing justice in 26 years! Now let's hope they get all of those criminals out of Venezuela and then we can return home."
Iran is having a revolution and wmedia is ignoring it…

Andrea Bocelli invited former hostage Segev Kalfon into his home, sang for him, and gave him a moment of peace after 738 days of terror.
Before welcoming Segev, he had already opened his home to former hostage Yaffa Adar.
In a world full of noise and hate, these quiet acts of kindness speak louder than any headline.
UPDATE: Hamas has just reported that Palestinian Islamic Jihad is holding two of our fallen hostages.
Two years on, families still wait to bury their dead. Why isn't the entire world demanding their return?
Israeli authorities seek to confiscate the Hamas-owned boats Greta Thunberg and the flotilla “activists” sailed to Gaza.
A request filed today by the State Attorney’s Office alleges the flotillas are owned by a front business for a Hamas-aligned NGO.
Hamas and Greta and co. have one thing in common: They don't actually care about Palestinians, just about harming Israelis and Jews.
So why is anyone surprised she’s sailing their ships?
Jewish people have the right to live in safety and security.
Jewish people have the right to be outraged about antisemitism.
Jewish people have the right to fight back against hate.
Zohran Mamdani is not an extremist because he wants free buses, or universal childcare, or rent freezes.
He's an extremist because he is mobilizing a political coalition around the idea that the Jews (sorry, "the Zionists") are at the root of all of New York's problems.
Kate's right, Keira laughs and looks away and then says, basically, that people are just going to have to get over themselves. Think it's the first time I've seen a celebrity deal with this kind of disingenuous question so cleanly. Well done.
This video is dedicated to all the people saying antisemitic, anti Jewish things to me, when I defend Israel and their right to exist. Hoping that I'll keep quiet.
Never.
And to those of you who respond with more vile statements about Jews, you're only exposing your self loathing.
You might as well wear a sign around your neck that says, "I have no self esteem."
You have a problem with Jews?
I agree!
It's your problem.
Not mine.

One day, the Free Palestine crowd will have to look the newly freed hostages in the eyes and explain why they tore down their posters for two years, why they called their families liars, and why they refused to believe the survivors.
One day, they’ll have to apologize to these heroes for defending their captors.
